  1. He turned around and slapped her hard in the face, then kicked her. He ran into the room and picked his knife from the ground, his body a blur. Then he slashed her in the leg, and covered his thinly cut arm with a strip of his shirt.
  2. Loipin ducked, flung his own knives into the ceiling, and caught Aya's knives. He then sprinted to her and cut her hair off. All of it. He ran back to the room and threw both his knives in random directions, his eyes emotionless.
  3. Loipin was tired of this chasing. He pulled out his own two daggers from his sleeves with impossible speed, and entered a battle stance, legs poised, daggers raised. He leapt up to Aya and pushed her off the closet.
  4. DANDANDAAAAAN Loipin made a quiet growl under his throat and calmly walked out of the room.
  5. Loipin's head swivelled back, and he turned his body, hearing an almost silent footfall. This one needs to be made an example of, he thought, looking at Aya's expressionless face. He blanked his face, and stood, firm as a tree.
  6. A dark shadow engulfed Loipin's body, and his silent opponent disarmed him and tripped him. His sword clattered to the ground next to him. He was helpless, unable to defend himself. Loipin had had too many drinks that night. He was over confident. His enemy raised his blade and slashed at his face, ripping it open. Loipin screamed, got up and stumbled away, blood dripping from the massive wound on his face. Loipin jolted out of his flashback and jumped up. He carefully surveyed the occupants of the room to see if they were watching. Soon, it wouldn't matter. They would all be dead.
  7. It seemed nobody had noticed Loipin and Aya's silent exchange. As he watched Aya deftly throw her knives into the walls, he decided that she was his main problem. He just had to make sure he didn't lose control again. That was what had caused his failure last time. As his mind travelled back in time, witnessing his memories, his vision began to darken. He struggled against the oncoming flashback, clawing at the air helplessly. Loipin Kien fell to the ground, eyes blank.
  8. Wow, this is getting underway quickly! Aya's condescending smile rekindled Loipin's rage. His wrath had not been stirred in years, and yet her very face seemed to set a flame burning within him. He flashed a toothless grin at her, the smile never touching his dark, hard eyes.
  9. If J. R. R. Tolkien wrote the Cosmere novels: First, and foremost, none of the main characters would die, except for one really annoying one who wants to use Shards for evil. The Cosmere novels would basically be full of people walking for hundreds of pages, occasionally stopping to chat. There would be a couple dramatic scenes, and then in the end the goal would be achieved. All the Shardholders and Splinters would go to the ancient home of the Valar angels/gods. The backstory would be explained in thirteen books edited by the son, and there would be a HUGE fandom.
  10. Stick to the ancient roots, the roots of thy Tree! Waver not from your Stickness. WE ARE STICK!

  14. Loipin stared at Aya's dagger. The cowards backed off, and in his head he made a note of who they were. The easy kills. He found some shadows in the corner of the room and melted into them, becoming virtually invisible.
  15. Here, have an upvote! Wait! I just thought of something! Stormfather! Doesn't this mean we're all omnipotent and that we can decrease or increase peoples' Investitures!?!?!?!
  16. Loipin sneered at Friend's stuttering speech. Weaknesses to exploit, he thought to himself. Weaknesses to exploit.

  20. I purchased the Infinity Blade books, since I was addicted to the games. I read Mistborn first, read some others, don't remember which, then googled Brandon Sanderson, found this, and had my mind blown. Since then I've read everything.
