  1. Timeport post up, which I like to call "Timeport doesn't take the best course of action because plot he loves fighting too much to skip it."
  2. Timeport smiled as he looked up at the house. It was pretty nondescript, and looked pretty much like the houses around it. No doubt it was laced with tons of lethal traps to stop any intruders from accidentally (or purposefully) stumbling in on her. The thing was... if you looked up "lethal" in Timeport's dictionary, it was defined as "harmless." Let's do this. No sooner had Timeport taken a step toward the house when something grabbed onto the back of his Iron Man mech. He spun around and saw... what? That was his first thought, at least. They looked like normal humans, but they had, for whatever reason, decided to wear masks. Timeport rolled his eyes and blasted one of them with a bolt of energy from his iron glove. He began to dispatch the others quickly, but, then, the first one was back. Recoiling slightly, Timeport saw black smoke rising out of their wounds, slowly but surely healing them back to full health. Oh crap. Then they attacked. Oh CRAP! Timeport teleported 30 seconds into the future and five feet to the left. The strange humans didn't even have the grace to look confused, and immediately when he reappeared, all four of them turned back on Timeport. "Electro!" Timeport shouted, blasting the nearest attacker. "I could really use some help!" Small blasts of electricity began to fire from behind Timeport. They sliced off fingers and hands, but sure enough, each sliced body part swiftly grew back, like a gruesome worm poking its head out of dirt. Timeport teleported around, firing blasts, but the humans--he didn't know if they were minor Epics with the same powers as each other, or gifted vanillas--were just too quick, too agile. Timeport teleported a couple times away for a moment to take stock of the situation. Strangely, it seemed like the assailants were leading them toward the hot girl's house, not away from it. Not hers, then? Timeport thought. Huh... If they weren't hers, then that meant someone knew that they were there. Ah well. Timeport's fingers ached for blood, and blood they would get. Teleporting right behind one of the humans, he raised his hand and fired a blast of energy right into the back of its head. Its head exploded, covering Timeport in that delicious, delicious blood, then it dropped, presumably dead for good. One down, three to go. They were almost at the door of the girl's house. For a brief moment, Timeport considered teleporting right into the house and getting the girl and ignoring the fight, but the fun part of his brain kept him with the battle. He smiled as he teleported around, shot blasts at the too-quick humans, almost killed them several times, and had a general good time. Electo seemed to be enjoying it as well, though he still hadn't even managed to kill one of them. Ha ha ha, once again I prove I'm better than yo-- Suddenly, two of the remaining three attackers grabbed onto him, and before he could shake them off, a blinding white light enveloped his field of vision. It completely demolished his mech and dashed him to pieces, and in the brief moments before Timeport died, he saw that Electro had fared better, but only just: his mech was still together, though it didn't look like it was going to be, well, functional anymore. The next second, Timeport opened his eyes to the comforting red light of Calamity. He blinked, confused. What in the name of The High Epic just happened?!
  3. Converter doesn't hold energy perfectly though--it leaks. And she can't get back that leaked energy.
  4. I think that Invocation still hated people, he just left when he was supposed to. So during that year-or-so, Epics were evil, until Invocation left, when they reverted back to normal.
  5. Blain got his powers when Invocation was still there, so I assumed that he killed David as part of his Rending.
  6. So um, with the bus chase, no one except Taylor Swift actually reacted to Shattershot's deadly bus shards or BusDriver's flying bus. Should I write that most of the cars and the Epics go after Quicksilver and the bus gets away, or wait for someone else to post. Also, does Reader have anything to do? I'm sure someone would tell him to do something with Quicksilver's attack on HQ (though he is in his church and not in actual HQ).
  7. Reposting
  8. Did anybody adopt Dragoon and his horsemen? I know Blackhoof took MM and Edgedancer Wandersail, did anyone take dragoon?
  9. Repeating this again, just in case no one saw it.
  10. That was awesome. Is it my turn in the actual bus chase?
  11. No, it's one of our friend's. It's based off of a Mistborn RPG character, actually.
  12. Kind of? His interpretation of his mission from Calamity makes things complicated.
  13. (On mobile, sorry for potential double post) Unless Lucentia wants to be stuck there forever constantly replacing the diamonds. Timeport can just remove them all after she leaves, considering neither he nor CM can die (for long, in Timeport's case ).
  14. Hm...I can make it work. Timeport *really really* wants to go work with Lightwards right now, so he can ... Yeah, I can make it work.
  15. GUYS I JUSY REALIZED SOMETHING: Project Amber isn't going to work. When Timeport teleports into objects, he makes the object disappear (e.g. If he teleports into the wall, then out of the wall, there's a Timeport-sized hold in the wall). With him on Corpsemaker's side, he would never let Corpsemaker just stay trapped in diamond. He would teleport around CM and remove the diamond. This is a problem.
  16. Nope.
  17. Is it my turn in the Dalles? Is it my turn anywhere?
  18. So, Megan shows that there are multiple realities within the Reckonersverse. She also describes that there is a universe for every possibility. Well, one possibility is that, in a dwarf galaxy far away, an all-powerful being is created, named Adonalsium. People (too many people) have asked "is Reckoners Cosmere?" What no one has asked is, "Is Cosmere Reckoners?"?!?!?
  19. No, it's supposed to Mer. It's a spin on the saying "you know what assuming does? It makes a chull out of you and me," except it's not assume, it's assumer.
  20. Finally got the getting-to-Neverthere scene posted.
  21. mail-mi’s green. Mailliw is blue Timeport clutched the note with the astral projector’s address in one hand and controlled his mech with the other. It was unfortunate, but to take the mech he had to leave his battle axe behind. So worth it. He blinked forward, teleporting instead of walking, like always, always hesitating for a moment between blinks so that Electro’s mech could keep up. With each blink, he felt like rocketing in front of Electro; the sneaky voice in his head saying You don’t need a “guard,” Timeport. You can do this yourself. In fact, why don’t you just get rid of the competition now? Electro is gone, and the girl is yours. You can take her back to Corpsemaker and follow your mission--with no impediments. He looked at Electro as he caught up to Timeport once again. Well, I could... but no. Corpsemaker wouldn’t be very happy, and he won’t believe any excuse I give him. Blinking a few more times, Timeport turned to see a confused Electro that was trying to turn down a street toward Chimera’s zoo. Oh yeah. “Electro! Do you really think Corpsemaker and I would pass notes just for funsies? We’re not going to Chimera’s zoo at all.” Electro was thrilled at the prospect of using his powers again. Chimera had always been left alone, as his animal army posed a threat to most humans. But for Electro, they only gave him a better challenge. Timeport called back to Electro as he turned down the street to the zoo, saying that they weren’t going to the zoo at all. “Then where are we going?” Electro asked. “Remember that hot girl we met the other day?” After I got eaten. That still amazed him--dinosaurs!!! In Portland!!! “The one we couldn't touch at all? We’re gonna go get her real body.” The crazy one? Sure, she was attractive, in a bubbly schoolgirl kind of way, but hot? Definitely not. Electro found himself again wondering if Timeport was the best companion. His taste in women was definitely lacking. Then again, free girls were always a plus. Electro grinned slightly. “Oh, that one! Do you have dibs then?” He asked. Electro just wanted one chance at her. Then Timeport could do whatever he wanted. Do I have dibs? Um, duh? “Obviously, considering Corpsemaker gave me the mission.” Timeport teleported his mech closer to Electro. “Unless, of course you want to fight me for her.” Fight him? For that girl? “Naw, she’s not really my type. But if you’ll let me have one shot at her, I’ll take it.” Electro smiled right at Timeport, ready to Scramble him if this conversation went worse. Timport pursed his lips within his Mech, then smiled back at Electro. “One shot, then she’s mine.” He felt like he needed to shake Electro’s hand or something, but considering that the mechs were in the way of that--and the fact that Timeport didn’t want to be electrocuted--he ignored the feeling and began porting down to the girl’s address. Some time later, Timeport stopped and waited for Electro to catch up to him (like always). “This is her street,” Timeport said, pointing down one side of the T intersection that they’d come to. “We need to get in, get through any traps or other powers she might have, and get out.” Then, you get your “one shot,” and I get my time with her. “Ready?” Sparking Timeport always had to show off his teleporting and time power combo by beating Electro everywhere. He never could arrive before the cocky ax-wielding caveman. His powers weren’t even weapons, just accessories. If Timeport had grown up in the streets, he’d be much more accustomed to fighting. Take away their powers and Electro knew he’d be able to beat Timeport easily. It wouldn’t take more than a moment. As Electro caught up at the intersection, Timeport relayed the most redundant message Electro had ever heard. He understood how this would work. “Duh. Let’s go.”
