  1. Day 3 Axies knew he had made enemies. It was time to get away from the center of the village. He tried to keep a steady pace as he walked toward one of the main tunnels. The soft sound of stealthy feet came from the stone walkway behind him. He turned around. "Sneaking about in the dark, are you?" he yelled into the night, but he saw nothing. Then he felt the blade slide between his ribs. Axies fell to the ground. As the life bled out of him, he heard the hemalurgist snicker, as if trying to keep a laugh in at an inappropriate time. The strange thought lingered in Axies' mind until his heart stopped beating. *** Lord Mattias Mountford lounged at home. This "war" against the "spiked" was much more work than he had expected. "Grape!" he yelled, and held his mouth open for a moment. Then he was stabbed in the face. *** An ancient relic had been unearthed. It was waiting for someone to find it. Who would wield it in battle this time? Would it be a mighty leader, or a lowly farm boy? The latter tended to become the former when holding this weapon. Two hands gripped the haft and slowly lifted Hazecrusher from the ground. Axies was a bronze/nicrosil Twinborn. Lord Mattias Mountford was a brass/bendalloy Twinborn. 5 pretty cool items were found. Hazecrusher was found. Because of the confusion last cycle, Dowanx is taking the role that was previously held by Eolhondras. Dowanx now has the abilities, alignment, and previous actions of Sheol. Map: for some reason, my computer won't upload the picture. But there is a pretty cool item in every room, except for B1 (Upscale Residential) and B3 (Miners' District) which have awesome items. Day 3 will end on Friday, April 10 at 8:00 pm PDT, unless anyone asks for an extension.
  2. Night 2: Wake Up! Dorryn, the Ballot Counter, was excited. War on the Spiked? It seemed like something was finally about to happen in this town. The Twinborn were going to live up to their potential and uncover the parasites that were eating away at the town from the inside. And by counting their votes, she was helping! Any minute now, the runners would bring her their votes, and she would count them, and the first Spiked would be convicted. Any minute. *** Just as Dorryn could see the mist starting to filter into the top of the cavern, one of the runners came to her. This was the only runner she had seen all day. Unfortunately, the ballot was blank except for a few smudges. Malrick: (0) Cylkan Nobody was lynched! You have until 8:00 pm PDT on Friday to turn in your actions for Night 2.
  3. Also, where's Conflux? His comment from Firefight when he said something to the effect of, "I'll always be controlled by a high epic, whether it's Steelheart or Limelight" makes me suspect that Conflux stayed in Newcago and is working for Prof now.
  4. I believe that all the PMs are out now. If you didn't receive a PM about your actions, please bring that to our attention. If you hadn't already begun to do so, you are now completely free to discuss the results of the night. Happy Lynching!
  5. I just like saying "noted," okay?!

  6. Thank you, Jain, for reposting the map. Some important reminders: The rule for contingency plans has changed. You can now only include a contingency plan for an action that requires a target. You can only include one contingency plan for each of these actions. All players (except those whose powers dictate otherwise) who do spend an action period sleeping during the night will not have their votes counted in the next day. So if you want to be able to vote, don't forget to sleep.
  7. Night 1: And So It Begins "This is your purpose: to kill the Spiked and return peace to Twinborn Village. I name you, the Twinborn!" shouted Jabber. The old man did love the sound of his own voice. Mayor Remmie Gund took the advantage of the pause in the man's speech to start clapping. Whether or not Jabber was finished jabbering didn't matter, because now it Remmie time. The Mayor ran up onstage before the crowd stopped clapping for the storyteller. "Thank you, Twinborn Village! And thank you, Jabber for those inspiring words." The clapping died down very quickly. "I have gathered you here tonight to clean up the mess you've made. This whole 'Twinborn' nonsense is obviously what sparked the Spiked murders. If everyone with two powers hadn't behaved like they were better than other people, maybe the Spiked wouldn't be so anxious to kill in order to gain powers." Negging. If it works on chicks, it's got to work on Twinborn. "Then again," he added, a little bit softer now, as if he was sharing a secret, "If Sheriff Millie spent more time on her job and less time on arts and crafts, these murderers might already be behind bars." The anti-spiked campaign was Gund's last hope of turning public opinion around before the next election. What would happen to all his hard work if people started thinking about electing Millie instead? He grimaced. "As of now, Twinborn Village is officially at war with the Spiked, and you are our soldiers. They are the enemy, and want nothing more than to bring the Final Empire down upon us again. Eradicate them." Gund struggled to keep a smile off his lips upon seeing the wide eyes of the people gathered before him. Shock and awe, indeed. And now, for the catch phrase. "Now go, and let's get stuff done!" The game has officially begun. Here is the player list, with occupations: 1. Temai Nimiad (Nicroburst) - Peels grapes and feeds them to Lord Mountford 2. 8. Alright everyone. We have an important change of rules. The idea for contingency plans was to make it so you wouldn't waste an action even if your target wasn't in the room with you. It's grown to be a monstrous mess of conditional statements. So now we're simplifying what you can do with contingency plans. You can only have a contingency plan for an action that requires a target. You can only have one contingency per action period. You can still say "Target Newan. If Newan isn't there, target Aonar." Or you can say "Target random. If nobody is there, sleep." or something to that effect. You can't say "Target Newan. If Newan isn't there, target Wandrin. If Wandrin isn't there, target Riitiidiikiiiir. If Riitiidiikiiiir isn't there..." You also can't say "Move West. If this wouldn't work, move South." Sorry to mix things up on you, but it was necessary. One more small rule change: The "pair of spikes" item can now be used on NPCs. You can charge your iron spikes with human strength by targeting The Mayor in one action period and Malrick's nephew in another, or something like that. You can still use the two attacks on players if you want to, but remember that they will only be charged if they succeed in killing that player. Also, remember that if you use a spike to attack a player, and that attack does not succeed in killing them, the spike is lost. Because of this change, "pair of spikes" is now an awesome item, and will be more difficult to find.
  9. I think the secret is in the name: "Knights Radiant" I think that the most important idea behind the Knights Radiant is that they lift up those around them, like they're radiating honor. Kaladin makes his bridge crew want to be better people, and now they're becoming his squires. Dalinar raised his family to be honorable and just, and now many of them are being chosen by spren. Basically, I think Dalinar gave his family the best kind of radiation poisoning.
  10. Haha yes this is correct. Passive items are automatically equipped. Shields, armor, and aluminum hats all count as passive items. If you give one of these items to someone, it will stop protecting you right before that action period and begin protecting that player during that action period. Lerasium alloys do not count as passive items, as they must be burned (1 action period) and then cannot be given away afterward. We're so close to the record! Just two more players...
  11. Exactly. That works. "Action 1: Failed. Action 2: Failed." However, you could say "move south" instead of "move to A3". In that case, if the tunnel to A2 was not being blocked during the second action period, you would at least get to A2 rather than just staying in A1.
  12. That is valid. The one thing that is similar to this that isn't valid is when you refer to information you don't have. So you couldn't say "Move toward the room where Newan is" or "Attack a member of the spiked team" or "Protect the nicrosil misting" Don't even worry about it. These are all good questions. I did this on purpose. In this game, there are still ways to survive even when you're outnumbered. As Feligon pointed out, the presence of the kandra makes it more difficult for the spiked to lynch you. If you have pewter allomancy or duralumin feruchemy, it could buy you the time you need to even the playing field.
  13. The lurcher's power only works one action period at a time. It can be used multiple periods per night. I love the idea of assigning occupations to those who haven't chosen any! Also, just to clear this up: The GMs will be choosing everyone's abilities and alignments. The players who have claimed abilities already are just using them for RP. I'm so excited for this game to start! It's going to be awesome!
