The Benevolent Order of the Yak
Redbird replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Water buffalo are better, especially since everyone has one. -
So apparently, there is this trope called Lethal Harmless Powers, such as Heatsink can shatter someones chest by pulling all the heat out then punching it, or just stop their brain, by absorbing all the electricity going through it.

I'm not sure how much you have read, so here is the non-spoilery version. Darkness must follow the laws of the land, and he is trying to wipe out any new Knights Radiant. Since he must follow the law and he wants to kill them, he has to find some crime they committed, and use it to legally execute the new KR.

First Names (if you're comfortable sharing)

Uh, thank you? And I only go by Anthony. -
The Nightwatcher one is really cool, and you even included Salas, and it's violet light on the mountains is great.

Historical Figures Misplaced in the Cosmere
Redbird replied to Dankworth's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I think Andrew Jackson was a thug/spinner twinborn, both pistols misfired when an assassin tried to kill him.- 7 replies

First Names (if you're comfortable sharing)
Redbird replied to gjustice99's topic in General Discussion
My name is Anthony, that's really all there is to say. -
So I will want to start Heatsink off as in the government, are all his powers and everything fine?
-
It is

He could have real weeping angels! I read this like it was ice cream at first.
-
Yeah, it might take him a whole month to get there.

Same as Lark, I am a sophomore and took those tests early.
-
That's not the goal, but a use, and that sounds like a good distance.
-
I know there was a ton a memes after the PSAT, but I have yet to see any for any other tests.
-
What do you think would be a reasonable distance for Heatsink to pull light in from?
-
I will probably make Heatsink a citizen of Corvallis, but I do want to eventually switch sides, which is not an unusual thing for an epic. I was thinking an eidetic memory would be interesting to have, since he can make an area totally dark, remembering how it looked would help alot. And I want to use the energy Heatsink absorbs so fuel his agility boost.
-
I am thinking that my picture will never be a bird, just to throw people off.
-
Welcome back!

New immigrant sounds good, considering Heatsink's power set, it might be a good idea to keep a low profile. But I would also like to know, what kind of government is in place? Edit: I am going to start reading through Corvallis now.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Redbird replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Learning German has not been that bad, although it seems easier for me than most people. -
I guess Corvallis, since it seems I would not be dead immediately, and it seems easier to start there.
-
1) I'm not sure, I will think about it. 2) What are my options?
-
Sorry to be unspecific Edgedancer, only light can be sort of pulled towards him, and it owuld be a pretty small radius. Also how about the energy he takes in powers his agility boost? And would having him be immune to kinetic energy be too powerful?

I do think the idea of converting the energy into something like healing, food or just something else that isn't an offensive ability. As for the kinetic energy, i will think about it.
