    I think in his mind he was trying to help Vin, but he may have had some issues due to his childhood, causing him to be kind of irrational and violent. Edit: Kind of may have been the wrong word, but I can't think of a good substitute.

    The dustbringers have obvious combat ability, but friction can be used for movement, although since im not entirely sure what the surge of destruction does, I might choose edgedancer then. Either way I want the surge of abrasion, so on earth i'd have to choose progression, but destruction would be nice for Roshar.

    I actually found a quote stating that nightblood is a shardblade. Source, the 15th post. So Nightblood is a shardblade, although it is not stated whether he started that way.

    Granted, although you are not around to see it, as in you are blind and living on Titan. I wish I could bond with a spren.

    That would just support the argument of horneaters being something special, they see spren and swim in shardpools.

    Ok, thanks for the clarification Weiry. So I guess that means splintering is bad because: Odium has less enemies. The consciousness behind the shard is gone. But it is better when voluntary, and allows certain systems to even work.

    It probably seems so bad because it went from something harmless to spikes for eyes.
