  1. And have a minor heart attack when he heard that the soldiers assigned to shoot white paintballs at Voidgaze's targets were called Voidbringers?
  2. OH! So someone in-universe might finally call Quota a morally bankrupt Soother! ….you know, if he wasn't slated to die before Portland is destroyed.
  3. I can't speak for the second, but the first is definitely true. Gregory just became one of my favorite characters. (And now I wonder: if he ever met Funtimes, would he decide she had a powerful Soulcaster somewhere?)
  4. Did things just get more meta in here? (I love that trait! )
  5. Of course we were. But now it's official, so we can put him on cereal boxes!
  6. Additional side effects include, but are not limited to: snippiness, extreme overreactions to certain stimulai, fatal violence toward family members, destruction of public and private property, incessant whining, leering, kidnapping others, and being Nighthound. Calamity Gold claims full responsibility for these changes but will do Jack-all about them. I mean, what're you gonna do, face your fear and remove the corruption? Please.
  7. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks Calamity Gold sounds like a cereal.
  8. Do more powerful Epics bear a stronger resemblance to Shia? Is Steelheart a near-twin, while Curveball merely has a similar beard? Is Calamity the real Shia LaBeouf?
  9. It does explain why Shiny Sparkle is drawn to Autumn, if every female Epic also looks like Shia LaBeouf. ...though it does change my reading of the books, if Obliteration, Steelheart, Prof, Regalia, Megan, Newton, and Fortuity all look like Shia in various costumes and degrees of makeup. Come to think of it, how did David not recognize Prof and Megan as Epics?
  10. And now I will never be able to picture Iconoclast as resembling anyone but Shia LaBeouf.
  11. T'will be a reckoning filled with head-tilts and much snorting.
  12. I'll consider it. The TwiLyghtocracy won't tear down every admin, of course. We shall be benevolent toward those who embrace our core values of shipping and pugs.
  13. Now I wonder if I should tell my sister that peer pressure is a beautiful thing and to just give into it.
  14. If their meeting went on much longer than a few minutes, they'd probably wind up re-enacting the entire movie.
  15. I'm not entirely sure. She'd probably switch between "Haha, that is awesome!" and "Okay...they're terrifying."
  16. Trying to think of something to add to this thread is like trying to discuss Kant's categorical imperative with my pugs.
  17. (Don't take the snark bait! Bait, snark or not, KILLS FISH! (Not a word about how it's not the bait itself, but the act of being dragged out of the water and rendered unable to breathe, that kills them. )) Don't I? Hurm. Perhaps we should expand the definition of "disagree." (Or I could just admit after rereading the original post that we actually seem to agree on everything. )
  18. I haven't told her about Nighthound yet, but I'll tell her about Voidgaze first.
  19. Not enough to understand the thing, should she actually join. I've given her basic rundowns of current goings-on in The Dalles and Portland, and I told her a bit about some of the various Epics' powers. For instance, she knows that The Dalles is being invaded by pandas and that there's a shapeshifter who thinks she's Taylor Swift, and she knows that Portland is on the verge of an all-out war, but I didn't go into the finer details of the political machinations or the characters involved because I didn't know how interested she was. If she joins, I'll tell her everything. I'll direct her to the Cannon Fodder Vault. Either one. In person would probably be easiest, though if she joined Corvallis or Astoria I'd have her PM the GM there. I'm learning so much about you people today. By the way, she said the word "pi" is green, and each number is a different color but it's mostly red and green.
  20. She mentioned perhaps joining this RP, but I don't know how sold she is on the insanity aspect of it. Maybe I can still get her to join as an artist.
  21. I think I'll suggest it. As I understand it, it's not a hallucination so much as just visualizing the words in her head, all lit up with different colors—but it's strong enough that she has a hard time watching "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" because the colors on the video and the colors she sees clash all over the place.
