  1. Sorry. I slept past my alarm and I'm still not completely awake....which my parents seem to think is the perfect time to remind me how badly I need to clean out my closet.
  2. Aww, Reader's adorable. He actually thinks people will want to help him.
  3. Thank you. I know what I'll be reading all day tomorrow.
  4. I hate roller coasters. My siblings love them, but the only one I could stomach was called the Corkscrew at Silverwood in Idaho, and that's mostly because the Corkscrew was only a minute long. But the water park there--they had a pretty nice water park with a huge treehouse-like complex for the kids. My brother and I would climb up there and terrorize the kids with water guns and superior knowledge of strategy and timing. Hmmmm, I prefer spicy, but I'll eat mild if it has a good flavor. And I don't like spicy for the sake of spicy. My parents think they've perfected their salsa recipe and so don't try any new flavors, they just add more jalapeños. Me? I wish they'd try some habaneros or a little more garlic or something, but no. They just make it spicier.
  5. Yep. I don't think I've ever watched on Netflix. Once or twice on cable, but yeah, whole episodes for free.
  6. Chocolate is the best, and chocolate covered strawberries are the only fruity dessert I'd gravitate toward. I do not get my younger sister's love of key lime pie. Water park. Definitely water park. Though if amusement parks have one advantage, it's the funnel cakes. Spicy salsa or mild?
  7. ....which I also like, but to a lesser degree than pugs. Do you prefer chocolate or fruity desserts?
  8. I've been a Slytherclaw since I first took that quiz when I was 18.
  9. Do any of your many Epics eat cookies, and of those that do, which ones wear socks?
  10. Of the following spicy flavors, which do you prefer? Curry powder Chili powder Jalapeño Chili oil If you were to choose one kind of cookie dough to eat an entire roll of, what kind would it be?
  11. Found a site on historic buildings in Spokane and I'm getting lost in research HALP

    1. Kobold King

      Kobold King

I'd ask for a link, but I'd just fall in and get stuck with you.

      ...

Actually, can I have that link anyway?

It's historicspokane.org. The map is what's sucked me in. I wanted to get an idea of what downtown Spokane would've looked like in the 1940s, and now I can't look away.

  12. Ah, so secure in your Hufflepuff tendencies. You'll never see us Slytherclaws coming.
  13. Great point. If anything, I think the best thing these tests and others like them do is give us a framework to understand ourselves and others. And I think that the more detailed the test is, the greater understanding it affords those who take it. Another test I'd recommend (which I unfortunately can't find; I'll keep looking!) is an extremely comprehensive Harry Potter Sorting Hat test. Rather than answering multiple choice questions, it has you rank your responses on a scale, then tallies your results and tells you which House you'd be in based on your percentage of compatibility. I got 98 percent Ravenclaw and 79 percent Slytherin, which I compared to my brother's 95(?) percent Gryffindor. It's a slightly nerdier way to understand personalities. Edit: This one is close to the one I took, although it has a long series of true/false statements rather than asking for a ranking of one to ten. Not sure if it's different, or if I'm just remembering it wrong.
  14. I don't think anyone will ever completely fit inside the boxes described by the results here, and I don't know if this was the authors' intention. I certainly don't exhibit every trait used to describe the INTP, though I do identify with many of them. Honestly, the most helpful thing this test did for me was describe the differences between introverts and extroverts in terms anyone could understand. Realizing that I was a strong I from a family of strong E's really helped me to understand and accept those differences. My mom, for example, is an ENTP while I'm an INTP, so my initial thought was that we must be more alike than not….but no. Reading the different profiles for those two personalities helped me see why we're so different and how those differences manifest—even if the test didn't describe our personalities perfectly.
  15. What's your opinion on the life cycle of cheese?
  16. I'd rather discuss the implications of drunk Rendings with you guys than the intricacies of home improvement with my parents.
  17. How it is on this site (spoilered for, well, spoilers): How it is in real life:
