Ok I’m trying to find something for Collete.. she says it’s on 2nd floor but I can’t find anything with an icon or glow. I’m running all over the place in main building. ok this is frustrating and my ambien is kicking in making coordination harder. If y’all remember what this quest was and where it’s please say so I can find in AM.

That sounds....wonderful. I was getting nervous about that. So can I just zip through the school stuff if i choose? Will I miss anything important if I don’t talk to anyone beside who I need to for quest?

So Sara has sent me to the student council building to get something but I’m going to explore a bit 1st. Got a quiz already. Sigh that’s going to be a pain I think. Not knowing anything about this franchise I maybe screwed on that part. People are asking me about clubs...I assume their are skill/stat perks for each? Or is this just dialogue school mumbo jumbo? Am I going to get out of this setting at all this game? Been a long time since I was in school in RL so the teenie bopping stuff will get old very quickly.

So how many game hours is this game? Aidios way to much like adios=bye bye in Spanish depending on who has said it so far. So CS2 has a more appealing graphical background? I mean I’m an 80’s kid who grew up on 8 bit so I can take it but I won’t lie this is very jarring coming from those other games to this for sure...

Gotta say the sheer amount of “grr, umm, hmm, ugh’s” in snooty teen tones is very grating to my almost 40 yr old ears. So was this game a PS3 or PSP one? I’m really reminded of the physical mech of FF Type O which was PSP to PS4 with its very bare bones and repeating dungeons. The characters themselves look really good though. I have a 4 person party now. Machis came crawling backwards. I like his gun range. man it is kinda depressing with no flavor to the background in this bare bone dull dungeon. Keep in mind I’ve come off Death Stranding and Xenoblade 2 which is both full of eye candy.. and this god(?) Aidios... sigh bye bye lol

No where near as good as 1 though!

Actually just now unlocked that part with the active voice thing down in 1st dungeon. This won’t help with any rolling visuals that continue on but atleast it’s something. I still think it’s a bug. Battle reminds me of Grandia with a touch of Skies of Arcadia. I’m enjoying it.

Yes convos are X required to advance. It’s the rolling sequence bits that continue to keep playing out along with the rolling clock. This is extremely frustrating and seems like a major bug. sad to think that might become game breaking to me already on day 1 but if I can’t figure out what the issue with it is to stop it somehow I don’t want to be playing a game that miss bits of ya know. And I pause very frequently. Don’t want to be repeating stuff to see things that continue on while I’m on Home Screen.. grr and the game immediately hooked me to...

Yeah the clock keeps running which is really going to piss me off as I get a since of pride out of my play times. I always pause clock when I get up or pick my phone up etc so I have very little idle clock time on my RPGs so when I see my times I know it’s mostly time I spent actually progressing through a game, but it’s not only the clock that stays running...the sequences appear to be also. I had to pause after intro bit and I was on a characters cast sequence and when I came back with my cup of coffee after bringing game back up it was flowing and not picking up right where I paused it on Rean(?). So I’m going to have to be extremely careful in future I don’t miss anything.

The Quistis thing? She is character in FF8 that is your instructor that just winds up as a permanent party member. I like her so I was hoping she will go forward when I catch up time wise to intro. Im paused inside class 7 dormitory where people are getting introduced to each other among their outrage of mixing noble and commoners. and I really dislike needing to put my PS in rest mode on breaks to stop clock/progress. I’m not sure why this stuff plays out when you go to the home screen menu. None of my other games do this.

Fired up Cold Steel 1. I have liked it but I do have some frustration issues with it I go through in ded thread.

Fired up CS. Very much reminds me of FF Type O in just this short time. Maybe even Persona 5. Anyway what is up with starting at such a high lvl? My people are in 40’s and 50’s... guess a wipeout is probably coming after intro. graphics look much better than they did on sale ad.. That is just strange. why can’t this girl target herself with a heal spell?! I like the combat. what is up with the weapon swinging? Any benefits to hitting enemies before activating battle? k I’m now 5 months before...I hate when this crap is pulled in movies. Ugh im not fond of the discovery that the clock/sequences appear to play out even if I have hit the PS button to back out. This means I will miss stuff if I take calls etc and give me a totally inaccurate playtime in the end. It is by far a huge turnoff for me. i like Sara Valstein. I will turn her into FF8’s Quistis if I can. I like the white uniforms. Green is fugly!

Finished Xenoblade 2 38 minutes after 12am today. Outstanding finale and even with 219 hrs over 437 straight days played I still didn’t get everything done on it. im now free to play Cold Steel but I’m fighting the urge not to rush out the door to go buy a Wii U so I can start Xenoblade X and continue my consecutive days series play. 588 days with 1&2 together.

That game just came out...is it no longer an RPG that you devote hundreds of hours into? I mean I know it’s only part 1 of who knows but still 5 days seems like an utter waste for $59. Just more proof I’m waiting for it to be finished and on discount before I tackle it all.

I believe I’m really close to being able to start CS. Xenoblade 2 is coming to an end I think soon.

I very much enjoyed his Commonwealth books. Slow start but with the snap of a finger Hamilton really turned it on!

Ugh I so hate not being able to repeat any tutorials in Xenoblade 2... like last night end game spoilers...

It is different from 1-3 but still retains the overall PS ness of its older brothers. This looks rather like the Pro Controller for Switch. I like it but totally wasn’t expecting a completely different outline altogether. its doing away with the circle moulds and protruding trigger and analog moulds. Going flat block style.

Y’all see that new PS5 controller yet? I really like it but I’m extremely torn because if there was one constant in the gaming world it was the 20+yrs iconic mostly unchanged PS controller. It is complicated isn’t it? See here I am this whole pretty much when I see the pretty’s circling I tried to time my arts just right thinking I had to hit at the prefect time. No wonder why I never got a pop... and I very rarely even the do the chain attacks. The revives are worth more to me.

Ok for you Xenoblade 2 players..can you explain to me what the element orbs actually are and what to do with them? I know they mentioned it way back when but rust if I remember the tutorial. I’ve basically just been staring at them for 200 hrs lol. No way I ll look the info up either. I got a huge spoiler last year on X1 looking up something.

Ok BnB please don’t go the route that DoD read took me....I haven’t even finished ch 1 yet. Not grabbing me one bit. SW and esp OST hooked me right off page 1. As much as I love Malazan after 3 rusting years of this reread I just want to be done! And I still got to buy those last 3 Dancer books to. Ugh
