Getting some Elder Scrolls like vibes. This is going to be an Xbox buy for me for 4K. I don’t have a PS Pro. Combat looks very interesting and fun to sink hours into.

That poster looks horrible and cheap and turns out that the Palps on it was shot from a toy. Sigh That lightsaber Rey has is all kinds of dumb. Even dumber looking then the Inquisitor spinning sabers in Rebels. That Rey v Kylo shot seems a straight rip of Obi v Vader on Mustafar. I want December already.

Very interested in Greedfall. Keeping an eye on it.

Still playing the same ole games...Xenoblade 2, FF 12 Zodiac and really hitting up No Man’s Sky the last few weeks.

I liked White Night best. i agree the 2nd read is much better. Finding the nuggets books apart is mind blowing at times. This DoD read is just snailing along due to other books, games, TV and a mostly boring entry honestly though. Reading time is limited with so much piled up. Lucky if I can get a 2-3 pg day in most days.

Started DoD on 12/31/18 and I am only on page 550 something. Taking forever!!

48 hrs playtime clocked on my replay of FF12 on Switch. I got over my beginning grumbling of the job system. Would I still prefer every character to be able to unlock every weapon/spell/armor like I could on PS2? Yes! It is making for some cool change though this time around. I fire up the PS2 every time I unlock a new area though just to see the difference in graphics which is a veryyy big change. You need to see it with your own eyes rather then comparison vids on YouTube to really see it. and I’m still also playing Xenoblade 2 but that game is really pissing me off with the Merc mission stuff. It’s taking forever on certain ones and sometimes I just have to bite the bullet and let the game run while I read or watch some tv to eat the clock up which I hate to do as it feels like cheating but to hell with it.

Finished my reread of Prince of Thorns the other day and started King again. im still battling Dust of Dreams ugh and I have sooo much of it left. Been 6 months and I’m only around pg 370. bout 65 pgs left of New Sun 1 and then I’m going to be putting 2-4 & Urth on hold cause I have other things I want to read and Wolfe is to good/heavy to be reading other books at the same time not giving him my full attention is a disservice to him. i want to start Licanus 1 asap but this will likely be after I finish up the reread of Emperor of Thorns after King.

Oh I saw the Viera and thought it was. Oh well. The other game btw was Vagrant Story on PS1.

Isn’t 14 on Ivalice? Playing 12 Zodiac Age on Switch and falling in love all over again with that world.

Still very, very, verrrrryyy slowly reading Malazan 9 and New Sun 1. Now I have also picked up Prince of Thorns which is going much faster. Thats all rereads.

Getting back to Xenoblade 2 full time over Sekiro.

Forgot just how boring some arcs are in DoD. Ughhhh I just want this whole thing finished already. 2 yrs now and I still have more SE and ICE to finish up. Problem is I’m stubborn as hell so I won’t just put this down and come back later.

Nope! I passed the test when Thrawn came out which was my biggest hurdle. I’m one of the movie only fans I used to make so much fun of.

I’d say you have a problem if you don’t put 100+ hrs into an RPG. That problem being not you but the game.

I still like the NJO stuff. Did not like LOTF near as much but EU’s last series FOTJ really was fairly solid and very interesting things were happening. i will never buy another SW book though. Not risking having another axe drop after 20 yrs and 1,000’s of $. oh and Resistance SUCKS! I don’t even recognize it as a Filoni project like TCW and Rebels. It is just dumb.

Hmm I can’t really help with tips on how to approach his works. They most certainly require way more focus then your average book and you definitely have to be in the mood to give him that focus. Hell the only tip I could say is to use his death as motivation to try either one again asap while his passing is fresh. If your not in the mood for the Sci Fi of New Sun or the Fantasy of Wizard then I’d say to try his Latro books has a feel of Historical Fiction(though it’s not that) with a main character that has amnesia in Ancient Greece that writes and reads his daily journal which may sound boring AF but is anything but that. None of his books to me were any easier then the others to try, they all require that extra bit of focus devoted.
