  1. Lightweavers only have the first ideal and then truths. I think her drawing him was her telling a truth. He had been around the whole time but she would not let herself see him.
  2. All sticks are really just splinters of Tree.
  3. Here is my theory on poor Shallans tortured future. Adolin will become depressed over the guilt and feeling of being marginalized be the others rise to prominence. This will cause Shallan to start pining for Kaladin. Mraize will then break her with the news Kal killed her brother. He will then convince her to leave with him before Kals return. Her leaving will hit Adolin even harder. He will sit in his room drinking and talking to his sword. He will eventually revive the spren, they will bond, he will recover, But out of guilt and a desire to unite their power he marries Ialai. While with Mraize Shallan will learn many truths. She will do terrible things and have terrible things done to her. She will eventually face truth of what she done and who she has become and will have the strength to return to the KR after dealing a devastating blow to the Ghostbloods. Upon her return she will become pillow friends with Jasnah but alas it is not love only comfort, She and Kaladin ship part 2 book 5.
  4. Butcher let his writing group choose 2 ideas he had to work into a story. They chose pokemon and roman legions and Codex Alera was born and it is good.
  5. I'm also getting this error with both chrome and ie11
  6. You can't get the whole Malazan series on at audible but they are great. you have to commit to them I lessen while I work and if you get distracted from the story your lost. It may not be a Cosmere but it a big world and they use it all and then some. Other then that Brett's Demon Cycle, Miles Cameron's Red Knight is every entertaining and worth a credit at 30hrs, Brent Weeks stuff is really good and getting better with each book but I'll warn you the Black Prism is read by a special needs surfer, Blood Song by Anthony Ryan was one of my favorite books last year and Sullivans Riyria was good. I agree they are not doing what Sanderson is but I'll have Ryan, Weeks, Cameron and Brett's next books the day they come out also.
  7. AN HONOR Above the final void I hang, friends behind, friends before. The feast I must drink clings to their faces, and the words I must speak spark in my mind. The old oaths will be spoken anew. -Dated Batabanan, 1173, 45 seconds pre-death. Subject: A lighteyed child of five years. Dictation improved remarkably when giving sample. I wanted to read these now that we know they are glimpses of the future. I've enjoyed all the theories but I didn't see this mentioned. It is of Kaladin at the tower after he attracted all the arrows and has collapsed. He is remembering all the friends in the past he fail to protect, sees the friends before him that are about to die. "Feast I must drink clings to their faces" gems in the parshendi beards. The words, The oath.
  8. I don't know if I believe you Feather, his weekly podcast have come out religiously all eight weeks since June 9, 2012.
  9. I think the driver was still Wit. He just lightweaved a little disguise to stop Shallan from hugging him again.
  10. I have truly enjoyed your reactions Alyx. But I'm beginning to wonder if You and/or Eric have decided to stretch the Splintercast Reads WOR out until the release of Stones Unhallowed.
