Since Skyward's basically Gurren Lagann, Doomslug is going to end up being an incredibly potent source of Cytonic Energy. So yeah, Doomslug is the hyperdrive.

Shallan and Kaladin dislike each other so much....
Patrick Star replied to Benedictify's topic in Stormlight Archive
Nah, Brandon's been deceiving us this whole time. He's actually a single weeb living alone in his mom's basement. At the end of Dragonsteel, we'll find out that the cosmere was an isekai anime this whole time. Of course, the fact that Brandon has a wife and kids and owns a house in Utah only adds to the skill of his trickery. -
So I just finished Skyward, and throughout the whole thing I couldn't stop thinking "this sounds like Gurren Lagann" So let's recap. - Humanity is trapped in underground caverns on a desolate world, with most shreds of prior civilization eliminated. - An alien force raids the surface, but only when human populations exceed a certain point. We later find out that this is done to prevent humans from advancing further and to keep them in a less advanced technological state. - The main protagonist is a town runt who's really freaking weird, who finds a broken down piece of technology from the past in a random cave while exploring. This piece of technology becomes crucial to fighting the alien threat, and the protagonist discovers that they have an inner power that is essential for unlocking its full potential. In addition, this inner power was a key part of why humanity ended up in this situation to begin with. - Your drill is the drill that will pierce the heavens! Don't think I need to say any more here. All it's missing is a Spiral King figure. Also, both are hype af

After he eats Odium, probably
-
Stoneward molds rocks into giant tube and sticks Nightblood in the top. Elsecaller soulcasts tube into metal and fuel. Dustbringer ignites fuel. Boom, rocket. Nightblood gets flung over to Braize and eats Odium. The end.

It's actually an Attack on Titan reference

It's actually me. I'm not actually trying to poison anyone though, I'm just a really bad cook. I'm getting better though, I promise!

Like, what is the context of this? Do I just summom them to where I am right now, tell them 10 words, then send them back (or vice-versa?). If we're talking at any point in the story, I'd tell WoK Dalinar "The Parshendi Leader is ready to surrender, sue for peace" If we're talking Words of Radiance, I'd tell Kaladin "dude, just show Dalinar that you're a Windrunner" If we're talking Oathbringer, I'd tell Dalinar "Taravangian made deal with Nightwatcher, randomized intelligence, will betray you" If we're talking about the current point in the story, I'd tell Dalinar "Sja-Anat may change sides. Also, that listener is a willshaper" Oh who in damnation am I kidding, I'd probably just give Lift some cooking advice.

The vast majority of the missing blades are probably just buried. Maybe they fell in the ocean, or dug themselves into the ground. Remember that Oathbringer had started digging itself into the planter. A lost Shardblade would probably put itself completely underground given enough time.

That sounds highly unsanitary and like a terrible logistical problem.

Flying cities always sound like a great solution to everything, but I have to ask... where does the poop go?

That one in the second picture is totally a colossus. Definitely a piece of Dormin in there.

Still better than T. Every title starts with T.

So we're saying that due to having a mix between transportation and cohesion, the Willshapers can affect stuff at a spiritual level at a distance. And that this process is likely related to shaping the wills and spirits of other people and objects. Oh my god. All this time, Brandon's only been building up to one thing... we all should have seen this coming...

[OB] Book 4 Storyline Predictions and Discussions
Patrick Star replied to TequilaJack's topic in Stormlight Archive
Is there a problem with that? -
Sure he can. Brandon's described him as a "Robot Spren", and I possess a skillset that nobody on Roshar shares: Computer Engineering. Give me 2 hours with him and I'll have him running Skyrim easy. Give me a day and he'll be in the cryptocurrency mines.

I agree with you, it's probably not significant. Clearly the dashes are something else, or maybe just overall not important at all, especially if Cheomarish ends up being sentient. I'm just not sure if this disproves the basic idea of the theory, and a question more tailored resolve that. Plus it's just a good idea in general to get a better idea of what the unmade are. But yeah, like I said before, I still think they were Heralds or Dawnshards. Maybe ask how many Dawnshards there are/were?

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
Patrick Star replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
If that's the price I have to pay, so be it Granted, but to gain information about a good book series, you must gain information about a bad book series. You now have the entire Divergent series memorized, and can never forget it. I wish for an RTX 2080 TI. -
@RShara Man, that's unfortunate. Adds a point to Dawnshards then. Thanks for asking about that. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I guess another good question to ask would be "You've said that you can map the Unmade to Radiant Orders, and that the missing order would be the Bondsmiths. Can you do the same for the Heralds? And if so, what Herald would be missing?" A no on that would definitely put the theory to rest. A "yes, Taln" answer would basically confirm the main gist of it. Though knowing Brandon, there's about a 50/50 chance he'd RAFO the question either way.

Granted, but you can only communicate in binary. Hope your tongue's strong, you're gonna be doing a bunch of Morse Clicking. I just want a good Berserk anime adaptation. -
I still agree with the "Unmade are Heralds" Theory I'm not a fan of suggesting hypothetical spren that may not even exist as being what was unmade into the unmade. Whatever they were, it was almost definitely something that was already mentioned as foreshadowing. That's typically how authors handle these sorts of things. This really leaves the Heralds and the Dawnshards as the only two viable candidates. Of the two, the Heralds currently fit better, as we have no idea what the Dawnshards are/were, and there's a clear correlation between multiple unmade and heralds, plus the theory explains their naming scheme.

Gonna have to disagree with you. Kaladin's our main Windrunner, and he's set up so that his character progression follows him swearing the oaths. He's going to get to 5. Same thing goes for the other main order heads (Jasnah, Taln, Ash, Dalinar, Shallan, Renarin, Lift, Venli, and Szeth). All of their character arcs revolve around the oaths. Swearing a new oath is explicitly equivalent them advancing as a character. Kaladin has two major mental blocks right now. His first is that he can't accept that he can't save everyone, so Ideal 4 is going to be him accepting that. Not for any reason of causing harm in the long run, but just for simple practicality. He can't save them, and he has to accept that. His second is that even though members of Bridge 4 are getting powers as squires and some are becoming full-fledged Windrunners in their own right, he still feels the need to protect them. So Ideal 5 is going to be him accepting that the members of Bridge 4 are capable of acting independently, and that trying to protect them prevents them from protecting others. Hence the 5th ideal I proposed.
-
The 4th Windrunner ideal is going to be "I will forgive myself for those I cannot save to save those I can" The 5th is going to be "I will trust others to protect those I cannot"
-
This has been the general consensus for years now, basically since TWoK released. There's a few alternative theories, but lesser spren has always been the simplest and most popular one.

Yeah, I knew that, just was too tired to come up with a better joke response. New reason: they export the canned air to the Horneater peaks, which is why airsick is a Horneater saying. There are literally thousands of soulcaster fueled air addicts in the peaks.
