  1. Ooh, that's a good one. The whole scene includes Nighthound, Lightwards, Funtimes, Nathan, and introduces most of our major vanilla characters all without switching between backgrounds or requiring flashy special effects. The one major obstacle is that it requires a piece of equine engineering hitherto unheard of in all our labors: a Unicyclist pony.
  2. Those could probably be accomplished if I put a little elbow grease into it. I'll look into all of those, and I'll start creating various extra ponies that I might end up needing. The Sadrys would be nice to have, and Kathy's present in enough Altermind scenes to make acquiring a good Flamethrower pony necessary.
  3. That's actually not a bad idea... Since I might have some time to get into the comic creator again this weekend, any ideas on particularly noteworthy scenes that could stand a good ponification? I've been wanting to do the very first post, with Funtimes rescuing Nathan, but it's a pain in the tail to do for a number of reasons (not the least of which is a lack of Wienermobile vector images. ) It will take a lot more time.
  4. (For the sake of my time and sanity, I won't do any for Lightwards or Voidgaze unless they go down and stay down. )
  5. Once again, thanks.
  6. I guessed temporal anomaly, so... we'll call it close enough? I hope you feel better soon.
  7. I somehow missed the Surgeon General edit before. Which is a shame, because it's awesome.
  8. When we stood together, mortal men called us Stalemate, the most useless Epic team in the Fractured States.
  9. Are you kidding? I've pulled enough cactus thorns out of me by now, I'm fairly confident that cacti would end up being my Epic weakness. (Nothing personal, but if Calamity rises and gives me powers tomorrow, I'm going to have to kill you guys for knowing my weakness. Sorry for the inconvenience.)
  10. Frostnight? Went back to Lightwards as my profile. Going around as Earl Greyback filled me with the irrational urge to drink tea and conquer New Jersey. And I'm all out of tea. Thought it would be best to change.
  11. He creates a constant temporal anomaly around himself, causing the time around him to always be "tea time." That's my best guess.
  12. If I recall it was one of the earlier ponies, before we had mastered the art of Equinization. I definitely like it, though. Do you still have the code, by any chance? I'd love to fiddle with it in the Creator (Tomorrow, of course. I'm about to pass out from exhaustion right now.)
  13. Like a sir.
  14. Why is this masterful piece of modern literature not taught in our schools? I must have missed or forgotten the Sightline pony! Do you still have it? I fail to see how anypony could bring themselves to downvote Earl Greyback.
  15. GASP I say, that was precisely the phrase I was going to use! However did you realize? (I'll probably end up switching back to Lightwards before long, because this feels... weird, in some indefinable way. )
  16. I am quite glad you approve, my good fellow. And might I add how astoundingly dashing your new profile picture is looking. I myself am trying out a new picture at the moment--what do you think of it, my dear chums?
  17. The client likes it! (Thanks. ) Here's Flashpoint sized down to an avatar:
  18. Like a-- * is pulled off stage with a crook *
  19. It really showcases our misplaced priorities when Earl Greyback has a pony and Sightline doesn't.
  20. I think we know what the sequel to "What Happened in Oregon" is going to be.
  21. Surgeon General would be an awesome Epic name. Those seem to be wise words of advice. How's this for Flashpoint the Pegasus Mark II? I changed the hair, color scheme, and head shape, but other than that it's identical to the first. I think it's already much better than the first try, but I'm still open to suggestions. Or if somepony else with access to the creator wants to give it a more expert whirl, feel free to do so. I forgot about that. I'll have Backtrack find them and take their shoulders from behind next post. Have they done a lot of travelling, or have they spent most of their lives in Portland?
  22. Flashpoint is definitely on the likable side of the Epic Spectrum™. EDIT: Voidus, how did you want Backtrack to meet the momentum twins? And could you describe what they look like?
  23. Thanks for the feedback, both you and TwiLyght. I'll redesign him later this evening. His cutie mark is blue, and I was leaning towards orange since the two are complementary colors. (I may have also been subconsciously channeling Scootaloo. ) It's a shining example of how I get stuck with an idea and won't let it go, even when it clearly won't work. There's also the fact that Max is way more likable than Flashpoint. You'll notice that Lightwards POV segments have been on a sharp decrease once I started writing for Sam and Revolution. "Hurry up with that food, or I'll have a Warrior get it. And by Warrior, I mean--well, I'm sure you get the point."
  24. To be fair, Lightwards isn't a good measure of the time. He's just a very impatient person. Sounds good to me. Do you want him to have already met the momentum twins, or shall we write their meeting before he comes to the shack?
  25. Flashpoint the Pegasus Mark I: Notes or criticisms? I can take him straight back to the creator and make adjustments if need be. Max pony coming soon--I'm more confident in getting him right. Don't mind me saying this, but I think he's the more distinctive, interesting character of the two.
