  1. Thanks! And awesome ponies. Black Jaguar in particular looks awesome. To do suits, you can use this version of the creator. It has more features, but there's no cutie mark feature on that one and I don't like the controls as much. If you want to put more than one Epic pony in the same picture, than you can use the Super Speedy Comic Squeezy 6000. The controls can be a little finicky at times, but it's an awesome program. Eeyup. CorpseMaker's a unicorn as well, and Lightwards is just a regular earth pony. On the flipside, Edgedancer's weakest character Ray is an alicorn and Revolution is a pegasus.
  2. "The "Pancake Rain Incident" is almost certainly an urban legend." Sure thing. I couldn't think of good quotes for any other characters, but if anyone else wants one, just say what quote you want and I'll put it together.
  3. Oregon will fall this time! I'm sure of it. (Thanks for the cutie mark. ) In honor of a brand new insanity Question thread, I made this. From the Files of David Charleston: I might put the first two in my signature.
  4. I wouldn't mind having Funtimes' cutie mark, since you're offering and all. Kill Lightwards too many times, and he might start liking those glasses. ...Oops. I just don't know what went wrong.
  5. I'm drowning in the awesome here. He very definitely looks incomplete without his clothes. That didn't stop me from following in your footsteps, though.
  6. Awwww. I've had a cat in my lap practically all day, but I have no way of taking his photo at the moment.
  7. When you're on the pony creator, save your creations without the backgrounds. On the right hand side of the comic creator, there should be a "Add Image to Library" option. Using this feature, you will be able to upload a file from your computer. Thus you can add OC ponies to the scene. Until we fill the page then...
  8. For some reason I've always had trouble with the comic creator unless I'm viewing it from a private browsing tab. Also, Page 100! Are we going to shift to a fourth Question now, TwiLyght?
  9. I didn't have time to include everyone. Do you know how hard it is to position so many ponies in one crowd? There is a certain class of accessory that is a sin in and of itself. (Though I actually like the idea of pink sunglasses. If I ever go to a Brandon Sanderson convention, I'm cosplaying as Backtrack.) Try using Dump Your Photo. That's what I use.
  10. Lightwards is always surprisingly polite at this kind of event. I think he realizes that there are at least a dozen characters in the RP who'd love to get their hands on his weakness... Chicago Joe, on the other hand, is not present in the picture above because he was drunkenly unconscious outside. Accessories cover all sins.
  11. ...Fine, she can come over. BUT NO DARK!FUNTIMES OR SAM AND REVOLUTION GET IT! Thanks! I may or may not have created them because I lost her cutie mark on my old computer and couldn't find it again.
  12. ...Fair point. "Oh, you're threatening me? It would be a real shame if SOMEONE FOUND YOUR EASILY-ACCESSIBLE WEAKNESS AND ASSASSINATED YOU, HUH?"
  13. Rule Number 1 of entering fictional universes: never place yourself around an unpredictable character you can't kill off in a hurry.
  14. Thanks! The party turnout was about what I expected. The gifts ranged from decent to considerate. I got Wal-Mart coupons from Backtrack, socks from Lightwards, and a book on creative writing from Revolution.
  15. Miles Hundredlives walks into a bar. Being a gold Compounder, he quickly heals from all damage and demands to know who put it there. ... Thus concludes the only Cosmere bar joke I can think of.
  16. Well there was technically a post describing Lucentia in Astoria in what would later become "What Happened in Portland"... maybe it would be fine to introduce them as a threat on the horizon in the same thread? Alternatively, post it here. We'll read it, upvote it, and accept it as canon regardless of where it's posted.
  17. Ethics smethics. It's green arrows that count. (I actually have no idea. Your post has Remington being his awesome self, while mine just has Lightwards thinking snotty things about Voidgaze. :/) Yeah. Lucentia's posse is strong, but they're by no means undefeatable. I think the Destructors would have a chance, as would Blackwave.
  18. My Warriors have accounts too. I mean, yeah. Must be some kind of conspiracy.
  19. I'd spend all day playing it if it was. * starts humming "Evil Love" *
  20. There will be jokes. There will be ponies. There will be re-written songs. There will be awesomeness.
  21. Remember, remember, the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

  22. First, off, allow me to apologize if this topic has come up before. My searching came up with nothing, but it's possible I simply didn't use the right terms. Since this morning I've been pondering an interesting question about the nature of Feruchemical duralumin. We know that a duralumin Ferring is called a Connector, and that Connectors are capable of storing and tapping their ability to connect with other people. It's easy to picture a Connector Ferring (we'll call him Bill) in action. Bill the Connector spends a few days being lonely and ignored by his friends, only to suddenly become the life of a party when he taps his metalminds. But the question I found myself facing is as follows: what happen when we fast forward a hundred years and send Bill the Connector into the digital age? Bill certainly has a way with people in the flesh, but what happens when he interacts with people through a digital medium? Imagine the following scenario: Bill becomes a social recluse, storing his sense of Spiritual connection when he's navigating through his real life, only to tap into his reserves whenever he logs on to his favorite forum. How does the ability to alter Spiritual connection apply to the limited interactive capabilities of cyberspace? When other users read Bill's posts, do they find themselves mysteriously agreeing with what he says, laughing profusely at even the lamest jokes? Is a Connector's ability strong enough to affect people thousands of miles away, whom he has never met? Or am I looking at things the wrong way--perhaps duralumin Feruchemy is Internal, not External. When Bill taps his metalminds and talks to his best friend, is his best friend's Spiritual make-up altered, causing him to find Bill's company more enjoyable? Or does Bill only affect his own Spiritual make-up, making himself more likely to say things his friend will enjoy? I find that the question "Can Bill gain more upvotes through Feruchemy" requires more information than I have access to. My question to the forum as a whole is "Do we as a community have enough information on how Connecting works to predict its effects?" And before you upvote or downvote this post, let me assure you that I left my duraluminminds at home today. Judge this post on the quality of its content or lack thereof.
  23. This is the current state of the timeline: I'm still prepared to add new dates. On another note, we're almost at Page 100 again.
  24. Now I just need to find a logical explanation for The Dalles City Guard calling its prison "The Stormcage."
