And added, along with a brief explanation of the pony Epic phenomenon. Nice. That's definitely a great and distinctive character quirk.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that an Oregon RPer in possession of Epic characters must be in want of ponies. On the surface, this truth seems paradoxical. After all, how could the same people who created the vile villains listed on the above ATTD list take such delight in converting those same characters into cute pastel ponies? While there exist multiple theories to explain the ponification phenomenon of the Reckoners RPG, here are the primary points: Several notable RPers are also bronies or pegasisters; Very few Oregon RPers are artistically inclined, and thus rely on tool such as General Zoi's Pony Creator to visualize their characters for others. Ponies, like all other in-jokes of the RPG, lighten a mood that could otherwise be darkened by the presence of so many despicable characters With that out of the way, allow me to present the famous Pony Vault of Kobold King. General Zoi's Pony Creator allows the codes for any pony to be entered into the program, thus recreating said pony for further refinement or posing. The following list contains the body and accessory codes of every pony Kobold King has had access to. Further codes will be added periodically.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

* looks at number of upvotes * I love you guys so much. -
The idea of this guy being a bartender is cracking me up. "Okay, any of you guys know how to mix a daiquiri?" "TEAR OUT THEIR HEARTS AND MAKE BEVERAGES OF THEIR BLOOD." "Nobody asked you, Lord Supernal of the Eridanus Marches."

If there are multiple people interested in this guy, I'd be happy to put together a profile for him. Any ideas on which thread a guy like this should go on, theoretically?

I don't see why not, if I wind up adding this fellow in somewhere. Wanna call dibs on the version of him that's the emperor of his reality?

I just had a weird idea for an Epic. The exact opposite of Firefight--an Epic who can project images of himself into other dimensions. Coupled with an ability to slow down time to allow himself time to think, this man can summon entire councils of his interdimensional doppelgangers, including one who has somehow become the emperor of his reality, to give him advice during problematic situations. For added lolz, the version who exists in the Oregonverse is a vanilla, who's still not sure why astral projections of Epic versions of himself keep popping up to dispense their valued wisdom to him. He is still not 100% certain that he's not a schizophrenic. I'm thinking of calling him either "Synod" or "Think Tank." Thoughts?

I don't think so. He stirs up dissent, but apart from one deleted scene he doesn't actually have any felonies to his name. (Unless he has a habit of tampering with City Guard mail that I don't know about.) So I'd say Reader should be currently off the list, but held in reserve just in case. Have you seen Sky High, by any chance?

Hmm... good question. I would say that unrepentant glee at causing atrocities should be the primary qualifier. So Fortuity would go on the list but not Firefight, and Regalia would go on the list but not Newton. It's a list for Epics who are shown to revel in their corruption, as opposed to Epics who have been corrupted but are not particularly extreme about it. At least, that's how I've been viewing it.

I think Quicksilver was on the original list. (And though his murder of a guard was retconned, in my heart Reader will always be on the ATTD list. ) And of course, Impact will probably wind up on the list depending on how her Portland visit goes.

Nighthound and the Trifecta just about deserve another list all to themselves. (Speaking as someone who picked a random Portland page to re-read this morning and happened to hit the infamous Trifecta "game" scene.)

With all the trouble I'm having tracking down the ATTD list, I'm beginning to wonder if Quota found a way to purge it from the forum.

World misconceptions that are difficult to shift.

She takes toys from children? Would they have to be Epics? I have a strange vision of a trio of vanillas who stand around with coffee cups all day in her throne room, telling her how awesome the town is, literally singing the praises of whoever the most powerful Epic in the room is. I think Twi had it compiled at one point, though I'll have to do some digging to find it.

The Ferengi are awesome. Forget learning to speak Klingon or making schematics of Vulcan starships; if I ever become an obsessive Trekkie, I'm memorizing the Rules of Acquisition.

That was basically my idea for Ferv. (Also I'm pretty sure the first lorists were the same people that write the ridiculously detailed wikipedia articles about superheroes. ) Of course, Snowfall isn't necessarily a DC fan as much as he is a woman fan. If Deathwish had weather controlling powers, The Dalles would be like a steaming hot sauna every day in hopes of pushing Scribbler, Edgerunner, and Autumn into bikinis. ...though his plan might backfire if Vondra showed up for work in sandals and a pair of swim trunks.

What building would their Kong climb, though? There isn't exactly a convenient Empire State Building to swat airplanes from the top of. Clearly Snowfall pulls all the cold air away from Oregon solely because he likes seeing all the female Epics there wearing shorts and tank tops. The slontze.

Welcome back! And objection: it was DC comics writers who put our characters in skimpy costumes. Though I do think it would fit Shiny Sparkle's garish way of drawing attention to herself. I'll take a look at that podcast later. Thanks for the link.

The moral of our story It's the point we hope we've made... If your kitty's a dead Epic Better keep that cat well paid. That would get on his nerves very fast. Which means it should definitely happen. Have you noticed that Archibald the Asparagus usually fills the same kind of role as Arsenal, as evidenced by the Water Buffalo Song?

Certainly better than "The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps" for Baxter Game. Uh, Backtrack? He seems like the kind to have the bad luck of losing his favorite ball behind an enormous Epic force field.

You could make a whole thread for terrible Timeport pickup lines. "Hey baby. You've been running through my mind all night... screaming." "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? It'll hurt even more when I send you back." "You've been running through my mind all night... but I'm swiftly gaining on you."
