    I said Peng can survive the mortal plane. Arizona is clearly the abode of some hellish eldritch abomination. (Also, I hate to be that guy, but as someone who writes about animals for a living I feel like I need to bring this up. Javelinas are even-toed ungulates, not rodents. They're not exactly pigs in the conventional sense--true pigs belong to the family Suidae while peccaries are classified as Tayassuidae--but they're definitely not rodents.)

    I think if you lived in a city where random people with superpowers could murder you on a whim or tear down your neighborhood in a minor scuffle, the last thing you'd want to watch on your limited leisure time is more people with superpowers fighting on your TV screen. I think most of the entertainment channels would be filled with nostalgic sitcoms or old classic films, like the westerns David watched at the foundry.

    I--actually, that's a good point. The only disturbing thing is that it's taken me so long to discover this. On a vaguely similar note, I watched Who Framed Roger Rabbit? for the first time the other night, and now can't stop imagining Christopher Lloyd as Arsenal.

    He very much wants to get in contact with her, and has had more than a few arguments with Vondra about whether or not they should associate themselves with factions like her. That said, Khione at the moment has no idea he exists, and his plans on that front solely involve cargo plane routes he's planned for entering Alaska and initiating trade.

    It's quite true that poetry is a hit-or-miss field But a lengthy vocab is all I have to wield. Pray do not take this in a hostile way But I need a strong pattern for the things that I say. So don't take away this one small skill of mine My terrible habit of matching words to their rhymes. Allow me my one single poetic vice And I'll try to impress you with rhymes that are nice.

You've mentioned the possibility of adding non-humanoid sapients to the Edassa universe at some point. Have you thought up any racial concepts yet?
