Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!
Kobold King replied to traceria's topic in General Discussion
Ooh, China? What are you doing there, if you don't mind the question? -
Ah, those other two animated shows I've never seen before. Thanks for the opinions, guys. This is definitely a show I want to check out.

Not really. There's a little bit of basic knowledge that people should have before making a Dalles character, but only the broad sweeps are required. You don't have to read every single page.

Inside Out (Spoilers! Obviously.)
Kobold King replied to mail-mi's topic in Entertainment Discussion
I adored this movie. Personally I was disappointed that Bing Bong wasn't resurrected somehow. Yes, I am fully aware that I am an incurable softie. My personal headcanon that since Joy still remembers him, Riley hasn't entirely forgotten him. And because she associates him with her child-like bliss and happiness, she will one day remember him as a vague character, whom she will flesh out and write about in children's literature. Riley will become something of a modern-day Dr. Seuss, and Bing Bong will achieve immortality in the imaginations of millions of little girls and boys. But like I said. I'm a big softie.- 26 replies

Not at all. We'd love to have you. How much do you know about the RP?

This is Pixar right now. Just got back from seeing Inside Out. I had a blast.

It's amazing to think that to dogs, a door that leads to a room they haven't seen before is every bit as important and fascinating as we'd find a magic portal that leads to another planet.

Wow. Stay classy, 17th Shard. I wouldn't mind for myself so much, since I did say "do your worst" and I could shrug off the downvotes as jokes, but they also went and downvoted TwiLyght. Who was only giving a politely phrased opinion. I can understand people using the downvote button in different ways, but guys? You just downvoted people who are in the middle of a sympathy thread, talking about how hurtful they find random disagreement votes. That's inexcusable no matter how you look at it, and I am ashamed and appalled to see it on this forum. If you're not going to say something nice, I'd suggest you rethink your choice of forums, because around these parts we care for the people we disagree with. We're a band of friends here, but if you're going to deliberately hurt our feelings because your views don't line up with ours, then you don't deserve to be one of us. Now play nice or get outta here. -
He can be the Narrator for the entire RP movie.
-
Who says Shia can't play them both? He'll need a wig and fake tattoos for Scribbler any way. The audience should have no trouble telling them apart.
-
You're walking through Portland. There's no one around and your phone is dead. Out of the corner of your eye you spot him...
-
Jonah Hill as Quota, just to ensure the entire audience wants to punch him.
-
Does that mean the Metal would be voiced by Kronk? Eeyup. And he'd make them all wear silly hats.
-
Especially since I know John Goodman mostly as Pacha from The Emperor's New Groove. On that note, if WHIO were animated could Eartha Kitt have done the voice of Lucentia?
-
I... I can't even remotely begin to picture that actor/character combo, but I find myself grinning at it.

"I did not come to steal from you, O Lightwards the Unassessably Powerful. I merely wanted to gaze upon your magnificence, to see if you really were as great as the rumors say. I-I did not believe them." "And do you, now?" "Truly, tales and songs fall utterly short of your enormity, O Lightwards the Stupendous... oh sparks, not enormity! That would imply you're overweight! I meant magnificent! Lightwards the Magnificent!"
-
I don't really picture that either. I just like the idea of Mark Strong blowing up bullets by whistling at them.
-
Oh, and next you'll be telling me that Frequency can't be played by Mark Strong.
-
Oh, let's think. Who do we know who's basically Epic!Scar and has a bunch of barely controlled predators who might turn on him in a flash as his army...
-
I've always been partial to the conclusion of Hopper's story arc...
-
Sorry not sorry.

It's a pity we don't have any characters who'd make for a fitting Frozen parody.

I DON'T ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ADOLIN OR RENARIN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. I mean, they're great and all, but they're not my favorite characters and I usually spend their PoVs just waiting for another Dalinar segment. There, I said it. Intolerant downvote-wielders, do your worst. I don't think I've ever seen you come across as particularly aggressive. I mean, I don't always agree with you 100%, but there's no point in interacting with other human beings if you're going to get mad every time you don't align with their viewpoints entirely. Heck, I don't even agree with TwiLyght or Quiver all the time, and we're like forum besties. I guess what I'm saying is, I fully sympathize with you. This use of downvotes is officially allowed, but I'm not afraid to state that I find their usage inappropriate at best and downright rude at worst. Allowing downvotes based on petty disagreements is opening the door to future abuse once our fan base grows, mark my words. But again, don't worry about the haters. Just know we're standing with you in understanding solidarity. -

Really? I'm not exactly the president of Adolin's fan club, but I can't for the life of me see how downvoting someone who likes him could be justified. Take an upvote from me now, as a sign of support. Don't listen to the storm-leavings that are picking on you. -
I didn't have a permission slip to attend this feels trip.
