Brandon Sanderson just got back to me with copies of 'White Sand' and 'The Aether of Night'. I quickly got these converted to epub files so that I can enjoy them on my kindle. I decided to make up some book covers for fun, because they don't have any. The one problem is I don't really know what the books are about so I couldn't really tailor the covers to the books, but I gave my best effort. Tell me how they look to you! Also these are just used for fun, not resale or anything. For White Sand (also renamed to Dragon Steel once changed to an epub file) I wanted a stark contrast of sand, day and night. I think it works well. For The Aether of Night, which I don't know much about, i wanted a dark sky. I added a symbol for aether and then put stars that were drawn by Galileo with it. So tell me how I did???

Eshonai confirmed for Knights Radiant?
FlatLine replied to Adolin_Dustbringer's topic in Stormlight Archive
It doesn't necessarily mean she will, the book with just be focused on one, though I think it's a big possibility. Or she's dead. -
Well the shape of the continent is definitely caused by the high storms. Brandon said that the plant doesn't have plate tectonics, but that the storm weathers away on side, while adding crem to the other. That's how it moves, so the shape doesn't surprise me.

What Shattered the Shattered Plains (Probably some spoilers)
FlatLine replied to thejopen27's topic in Stormlight Archive
After the fight with Szeth, Kaladin states that the shattered plains have been shattered again. I'm not exactly sure what he means about this though, because nothing else is talked about.- 19 replies

Haha yes. I finished reading WoR and got a hold of Allegiant. I hadn't read the other two books since a while ago, but I remember them being pretty decent. I started reading Allegiant and I was just like, "Oh my goodness Roth writes so terrible." It's in first person and is just really subpar reading. Sanderson is really incredible with how he writes.

Someone going around smashing faces perhaps?

There is one missing that we don't know about. Most of us assumed that one of the heralds went back and got their's

question about Honorblades WoR (Spoiler)
FlatLine replied to agentprimus's topic in Stormlight Archive
Honorblades don't vanish when dropped, but they can be summoned or unsummoned by will. -
I need to go reread some stuff, but I was thinking that his boon was to not grieve for his wife = completely no memory of her, and his curse had to do with Renarin's blood disease. I remember Kaladin saying it didn't sound quite normal. I also read that the boons and curses don't have to be related to one another.

FlatLine replied to FlatLine's topic in Stormlight Archive
I'll try for sure! If anybody wants to leave suggestions on a scene they want to see I'll consider drawing it. I need to go reread the books -
My Drawings of The Stormlight Archive (Spoilers)
FlatLine replied to FlatLine's topic in Stormlight Archive
Yeah so a lot of spears have a tassel like thing and even though Syl is the spear I kind of drew it to represent her spren form. -
All right everybody, So I have been working on some drawings for fun of a few things from the stormlight archive (mainly WoR). I've just done two drawings so far, but I wanted to share them with you and see what you think! The first drawing was my own interpretation of Nightwatcher. There haven't been any real descriptions of what she looks like so I could go in any direction I wanted with it. I drew her mysterious and mystic abilities. We aren't exactly sure who/what she is. This is probably what you would see when seeking out a boon from her. I think she turned out pretty good, though I kind of got the feeling that this is what a Parshendi could look like too, what do you think? "It was as if the Nightwatcher toyed with them, playing some forbidden game of chance, occasionally setting the men on his game board as allies, then setting them to kill one another the next day." There next photo is Kaladin getting his ShardSpear, it's a little more simple of a drawing and I thought it turned out all right. This one could use a lot more work, but I thought it was good enough to just through it up on here. He's in the storm ready to fight Szeth, so tell me what you think?? “Death isn’t better. Oh, it’s easy to say that now. But when you stand on the ledge and look down into that dark, endless pit, you change your mind. Just like Hobber did. Just like I’ve done. I think you’ve seen it too.” (These should look better quality too... Don't know why they aren't )
-
That's what I'm thinking, but I don't know if he'll get surge binding powers, maybe void binding powers??? His powers will be really unique and Nightblood will grant them. It also talks to his mind so I think it will replicate a spren.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. -
What do you think is going to happen in book three
FlatLine replied to shadewolf's topic in Stormlight Archive
Have we decided if Szeth is going to be good or bad? I think he'll use "justice" and murder a lot of people. -
What do you think is going to happen in book three

That's true that it might be a lot different, we did see Elhokar throw Kaladin in prision and nobody could do anything about it though. -
What do you think is going to happen in book three
FlatLine replied to shadewolf's topic in Stormlight Archive
Why would Dalinar be deciding it? Elhokar is the king,, it would go through him. If it is discovered/Adolin confesses. Then he will either be executed or banished. I think he'll get banished and that's were his story will really grow. -
it seems like most of the creatures on Roshar are aquatic based. There's cremlings and axehounds from the top of my head. So there's something.
-
I actually think that storm light is easier to get and more efficient than breath. BS stated that Vasher could get something more easily if he was here on Roshar. Found the quote! Q: How long has Zahel been slumming it on Roshar? A: For quite a long time, on this planet he can get something quite easily that is much harder to get where he came from.
-
I could see Nightblood sucking in storm light, kind of like breaths, but I don't know if it will need it all the time, that would be hard for Szeth to always have stormlight.

What do you think is going to happen in book three
FlatLine replied to shadewolf's topic in Stormlight Archive
Does anybody else get the feeling that BS is setting up some stuff too stereotypical? I think there are going to be some crazy crap happen and it's only going to get better. -
Huh, I'm going to need to read up on these stuff... can't remember much...

A shardholder is like Vin right?

So who is Hoid, could he be one of the 16 gods? I'm forgetting all the terms right now/which ones are which. It makes sense that he could be one of them.

Szeth's Unique Aquisition (SPOILERS!!!!!!)
FlatLine replied to Swimmingly's topic in Stormlight Archive
Sounds like Szeth just lashed the tarp to fall in Adolins direction. Adolin has never seen anything like it before, so it looks like he is controlling the tarp.
