“He’d saved the boy’s life once, so that would make them even”? Kell, that’s not how saving someone’s life works. You don’t just get like a free pass to murder them whenever you want later!

Mistborn: Secret History continues, as we travel through Realms previously unseen. We meet some interesting characters, have a chat with a few old villainous friends, and watch as our intrepid hero makes a very long journey. 

Meanwhile, I’m having far too much fun soaking in all this new cosmere-y knowledge and trying to figure out what exactly is going on. (For instance, the symbol from Part 2 is in fact the symbol for Kredik Shaw. How did I not recognize that one?) Have fun listening!

Normally it works like "I save your life, then you save my life, and we're even."  But Kelsier gonna Kelsier.  

RE: Dox:  Specifically, his last thoughts were: "You know, Kell, I almost started to believe that they were right, that you were watching over us.  That you were some sort of god."  Then "he sent a final curse Kelsier's way" before getting smacked with the koloss' sword.

Yeah. I actually started rereading the original Mistborn Trilogy to my housemates since finishing Secret History and that scene in particular was difficult to read after this perspective. Dockson... :c

PS: I have to thank you, I am listening your readings to improve my English's Listening... Very useful and very weird to hear how a native language's reader pronunces the name of characters ;-)

Fun fact... I have changed some of my pronunciations since recording these. (Like I said, I started rereading it aloud to my housemates and found a few I wanted to trade around.) My pronunciations are constantly in a state of flux, it seems. I'm always trading them out...

Elend and Sazed in particular are now different for me. "Elend" sounds a lot more like "melon" or "felon" now, with the stress on the first syllable. Sazed is now more like "SAY-zed" rather than the way I was saying it, "suh-ZED". Both of those come from hearing the way Brandon said it and trying to match. 

I ought to rerecord my old pronunciation meme of the way I say everyone's names now...
