Starsight Cover Reveal + Release Date

I kind of like it, but not as much as the first one for two main reasons:

1. The first one had lots of purple, purple is objectively subjectively the best color.
2. This design feels more juvenile. It kind of reminds me of covers for Magic Tree House and A to Z mysteries. I think I would have preferred something closer to the original cover, with Spensa in the center, but with her hair flowing outwards to represent anti-gravity-ness and the window behind her.

Is it the same artist that did the covers for alcatraz? it reminds me of that. I'll agree though, it does seem slightly juvenile. I don't know whether this was written scifi or children's though.

Yes.  Needs more purple.

I actually like this one better. Close to symmetrical book covers always seem a little too perfect to me, so I appreciate the chance to an off center picture.

Uniform needs more contrast.

Kind of off-topic, but are there any drawings in Starsight like in Skyward? I listened to the audiobook. If there are drawings or diagrams, can someone send me pictures of them, please and thank you.
