Possibly stupid question about Hoid

If my understanding is correct, Kelsier is interested in the Heralds because he and they both have more memories than their minds can store, which leads to insanity.

Now that Hoid's offloaded memories have been destroyed, does he have enough extra memory space available to maintain his sanity?

I don't think that Kelsier's problem is insanity. The problem that the heralds and Kelsier share is that they can't get off world. (Because of the strong connection)

We know of other worldhoppers who are thousands of years old. And of Elantrians and people of Fifth Heightening. If that were Kelsier's problem he'd just buy Breaths.

I highly doubt that Kelsier's problem is fearing for his sanity and memories, because he has been CS for only 300 years (and add that he was 38 years old when he died). The Heralds have lived for 7000 years, including thousands of torture in Braize, wars and much more, so the situations are not comparable.

In fact, if we round figures and say that Kelsier has lived 350 years (counting his life and then as CS), he has literally only lived 5% of the time that the Heralds have lived, and not counting that Kell has never been through so much hell, misery and destruction like them.

In fact, I think Kelsier does have Breaths, and also add to that that Kell dominates the Feruchemy with unsealed Metalminds, so he can lean on that too…
