After a lot of thinking, Ely turned back into a small kid and entered the town with the rest of them.

"Let me do the talking," Martin says, fiddling with his jacket to make it sit differently.  He puts his braid under the jacket.  No time to change the mess that it is.  "I'm gonna try to throw anyone who hears me speaking."

"It can be fun, but it's a very strange kind of fun."  Martin smiles a bit.  He misses ops like that.  Intel gathering missions where he could misdirect, be someone else.  "Probably not for everyone.

Ayia looked around. "Okay. While you do that, I'll go buy us some supplies. What kind of money do I need?"

"If they won't trade, don't bother.  You've got things you could trade with?"

Ayia took a quick mental peek at her pocket dimension. "Some stuff, yeah. Is pokemon still a thing here?"

"Heavens, no.  Uh... You know what, we go together, sell some stuff I've got on hand, and then split up from there."  He absently pushes a strand of hair behind one ear.  "Twenty minutes, tops.  And that way, you can keep your stuff around."

"I was just going to go to a pawnshop and sell whatever I had." Ayia looked around. "Is there anywhere specific an earthling should be in an earth town that you should do?"

[Spren of Kindness she/her]

"Well, it's going to look weird if we don't ask around for news.  But yeah, pawnshop is our best bet for a first stop."

[Knight of Iron she/they]

“I could turn into something that could be sold, then run away,” Ely suggested, eager to help out.
