rockbud seed projectiles

Could an Edgedancer or Truthwatcher use rockbud seeds as a throwable weapon i.e. infuse the seed with stormlight and throw it so that when it hits the target it is a fully grown rockbud?

Hard to say.  It can happen fast enough, from what little we've seen. The only real catch I see is that Regrowth might require maintained contact infusing the Investiture during the growth process (which is how it looked with Lift in WoR).  If so, they could definitely weaponize it to some extend but might not be able to make it a ranged / thrown weapon.

Holding the seed, growing it to a full rockbud, then throwing it would be more efficient. A Truthwatcher/Edgedancer could grow the seed to the desirable size, perhaps not growing it at all, depending on the situation its needed for, then throw it.
