Given Daggon's perceptiveness & him being a storyteller, he's the character most likely to be Hoid, if Hoid does appear in the story. 4

Yea I know about him saying no and some of the WOBs,thats why I was confused when Peter actually came out and said that he was and how Brandon could have forgotten multiple times that he was there

So if Peter got Brandon to remember Hoid's appearance in the story, he forgot it again. Or he changed his mind in the meantime and decided that it wasn't Hoid after all, despite initially writing him into it. Anyway, at this point, it seems more likely that Peter was the one who was mistaking, since we have only one confirmation of his position, while Brandon had the chance to correct himself if he was wrong, but didn't. You're right though, it is very confusing.

I pointed out the person I thought was Hoid, and said, if it's not Hoid, is it Nazh? And he said no, I was right and it's Hoid, he'd just forgotten that he'd put him in there. 10

PanicPug Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 - Daggon would be the obvious one with the storytelling, but his thoughts make it seem like a regular inhabitant of the Forests/Threnody. Or Hoid is method acting here, Wayne style. - That leaves the dangerous looking person in the corner from the intro - or the greasy drunk one from the outro, or am I missing anyone? As far as I can see everyone else who appears it's out of the question: - Chesterton and his gang obviously as well as Red and his bounty hunters aren't it and neither is Theopolis (on account of all of them dying for one). - Lamentation/Earnest doesn't really seem to fit. - Dob is out since he's been working at the waystop since forever. - And I think there aren't any other characters besides Silence, William Ann and Sebruki left.
