And also thinks it’s very funny when people say, “I can’t imagine historical English speakers with American accents! It’s too modern!” Uh... You do know that the Brits only tossed the R AFTER the American Revolution, right guys? So this is a thread for anyone else who finds it really, really funny that Shakespeare sounded more like modern Americans than modern Brits.
