Blade grunted. A black sword with a wolf symbol at its hilt appeared in Blade's hand. As Selil's power overwhelmed him, he stabbed forward, seeking to distract, not to harm. "Run, if you know how, Narrate yourself disappearing," he said to Valve as he stabbed forward.

"Uh..." Valve dissapeared, along with the engine and her favorite set of tools, appearing somewhere not dangerous.

"Ow! Hey!" Selil growled, then grabbed Blade by the throat and slammed him to the ground.

Blade grunted as he turned into a wolf to run away.

They sighed. "Welp, goodbye, mechanic friend."

[Channelknight Fadran]

Still holding Blade to the ground, Selil squeezed harder, summoning in dark mists to envelop them both.

"You're impressive, I admit," Selil said, "but still far from rivalrying the likes of me."

[The Unknown Medallion he/him]

Blade was outmatched, he could tell, so he played his trump card. He whispered, Aretheus, the only undefeated gladiator in my arena, appeared behind Selil. Aretheus preceded to lop off Selil's head, thinking for some reason that would do any good.

[Zephrun’s Imperium they/he]

"Yes, get 'im, Selil," Elgiloy cheered. They folded their arms. "Though next time maybe include me when you choose to pick a fight with-"

Blade summoned his gladiator.

"Oh, dear."

Blade summoned his gladiator.

"Oh, dear."

Selil reappeared behind Aretheus, kicking him in the back right above the tailbone. "Don't tell me that this minion of yours is somehow going to save you. Elgiloy, care to join me?"

"He's not going to save me, just distract you." With that, Blade, who was no longer held by Selil, teleported away.

Forgot to Narrate

[Zephrun’s Imperium they/he]

Elgiloy stomped forward, a mace apearing in their hand... Only for the enemy to disappear. They set down the mace sullenly. "Oh, well."

[Channelknight Fadran]

Selil nodded appreciatively, then grabbed Elgiloy and teleported them both back to their Fortress of Darkness. He hoped that the gladiator wouldn't be too bored sitting there alone in a deserted plot of land that had once housed an entire workshop.

"Sorry, El, but today's not when we're having the final battle."

Watcher looked at the battle, but when Valve disappeared, she Narrated weakly. Watcher followed Valve.

[Random Bystander she/her]

Valve was in the middle of a field, tinkering with her engine.

"... I suppose not, sir. But too much in a short period of time is rather..." They tried to walk forward and almost tripped. "Discombobulating."

"Don't worry. With luck, we won't have to do it anymore for a while."

"Praise the Author." Elgiloy teetered and sat down. "Is there anything you would have me do, sir?"

"Uhh... report on the other Narrators. Y'know... like Shard of Thought? Those guys?"

"I am aware that you hate it. But that is what I am for." They snapped to create a doorway to the Hall, which could be accessed anywhere. "Is there anyone you would like me to check up on spesificaly?"
