I've been learning to write and read the Alethi script too, and would love a copy of the font. Might write my notes from a signing with Brandon. Is really fun to write in.

]You can use cut and paste of the attached image, but that's about it for now. When I figure out how to make fonts using Illustrator and freeware font programs, I'll see if I can make a font and spread it around.

But...but...but...

The ten original kingdoms (Iri, Shin Kak Nish, Amia, Sela Tales, Makabakam, Rishir, Alethela, Natanatan, Thalath, Valhav) doesn't make as much sense as I assumed! Each of those is symmetrical if and only if "ch", "th", "sh", and "lh" are one letter. The former three are all letters, but "lh" has been forgotten--and therefore Valhav is not symmetrical!

It's spelled Vallav with a different diacritical mark on the second l indicating it's pronounced with an h sound. But we don't have an example of what that diacritic looks like.

Yeah, I assumed that the h in Valhav was for English pronunciation purposes early. I really ought to practice reading and writing in Alethi more. It's so interesting!

Also, Peter, what kinds of punctuation does the Alethi script have? I know there's the mark at the beginning of lines, which I'm assuming shows what the longest marks are, but are there any others?

Has this been released somewhere yet? Can't wait!

EDIT: Hmm :/

Well since it's been a while, I don't feel bad about doing so.

I'm making my own version of the font, that is unlikely to be anywhere as good as what these guys are talkin' bout, but maybe can curb the hunger pains 'til it is completed

NOT SO GREAT EDIT: :( It seems my font-creator is not liking my imports from Illustrator... I'll start over... the harder way

The h in a Vorin name can basically stand for any letter. Like in Nohadon.

(I know that post was from about six years ago, but... Yeah, I don't really think things through).
