"You're a criminal?"

I’m pretty sure aluminum mines don’t have raw pieces of aluminum laying about. It has to be refined using sodium.

Eryn nodded. “Sound reasonable. Do not understand North. Survivor was thief, ja? Surely thief just following him? Should be noble calling, ja?”

... We'll say this was a refined piece in the possession of Raven... And pretend that I know stuff... about things...

Adilie sighted "That's what most criminal think. Until they get caught." Twice didn't seems particularly more intelligent than anyone but some intelligent people tried to hid it, especially ones that risked to get betrayed like thieves

"On of the multiple incoherence in Survivorism. Worshipping a thief and hating thieves."

You know Kelsier just love the dichotomy. He probably finds it funny.

Eryn shrugged. “He still thief. Only steal bigger things.” She paused, thinking. “He think funny. Followers venerate him who is thief. But not like thieves. Sometimes rob them to see how react. Is amusing when see who stole.”

You know he’s totally done this.

I saw this, and the first thing I thought was "Airsick Lowlanders". :P

"Oh, makes sense. They do do that, don't they?"

"They do indeed. But then, some criminals aren't as smart. Those are the ones that get caught, usually. Or killed by a funny little group of people they were hired to kill."

"So now we must add 'big troll' in the list of the Survivor's quality. Is this planet some kind joke of the Gods or something?"

She hesitated. Should I tell them... It could be very interesting to watch the reactions they give. She imagined it, and then started to snicker. She stopped herself as quickly as she could, and tried to keep a straight face. She failed.

"That would be unfortunate. So... thievery? Or are we splitting up?"

Ladashwy shrugged. "I'm following Eryn, and so are you, so it depends on what she decides."

Do they have the concept of an internet troll on pre-internet Scadrial? For that matter, do they even know about trolls?

Kelsier totally is one though. You know post-internet he goes on the various religion forums with the username “I am the Survivor” or similar and spouts complete nonsense. Marsh has long since given up on getting his brother to grow up.

Eryn smiled fondly at the child. “Tineyes sharp. Will see more. Check for hidden places. Always another secret if look close.”

Who was this Sovereign character, exactly? There weren't many people in the underground Twice didn't know. But if it was some underworld character who wanted spikes, Twice wanted to know exactly who it was.
