Cavalier did some recon on the ironclad camp and tried to think of some sort of way he could make off with the catapult. It was on wheels, he noticed, so he could probably just send it tumbling down the mountain. That would probably damage it and reveal himself. Cavalier wasn't stupid. An arrow caught her in the wing, throwing her off-balance.

She had... gotten hurt. Because of him. Phaedrus torched the other ironclads, diving for Cavalier and grabbing him again. She began to fly him--however awkwardly--back up the mountain.

Cavalier realized they could use their catapult, and hoped it wouldn't come to that.
