Yep. There are two instances where this is confirmed:

1) Moash clearly states there are only two ways to stop Kaladin:

One is to get Kaladin to accept Moash's path, through Odium to take away Kaladins pain. The other path is for Kaladin to suicide, i.e: the only hand that can kill Kaladin Stormblessed is his own.

2) In the space between moments before his Fourth Ideal, Kaladin mentions this to Stormfather:

Quote

“He wants me, as he wanted Moash,” Kaladin said. “If he keeps pushing, he’ll have me. So I have to go.”

So yes. It was Odium's influence on Kaladin peeking through.

so odium made kaladin fight a fused, which is a servant of odium?

Yeah. The Fused can be reborn; and he'd gain Kaladin. Worth it, from Odium's perspective.

I found that moment pretty neat. And a little terrifying.

Just reread that portion of secret history, and I didn't see any mention of red eyes. Can you find the quote for me?

But besides that, red is also used as symbology for Corruption (i.e. when a shard's Investiture is used to influence a different shard's Investiture, as well as Odium

Kaladin's eyes changing colors is due to him being close to falling to Odium:

Questioner

Kaladin's fight with the [Pursuer], his eyes are described glowing a color not quite the same as usual for corrupted Investiture. Is this supposed to be that he's burning a different Light?

Brandon Sanderson

No, it’s more he's on the border of some dangerous stuff.

Odium's color is gold, he just uses corrupted investiture more than his own.

Corruption doesn't have to happen between Shards. Soulforging is a type of corruption. I think it's more to do with the Identity of the being you're trying to mess with than the Shard to whom the Investiture belongs.

So, is this a sign that Rayse is losing control of Odium, or that Rayse is kind of losing his temper and just doing whatever possible to get a good champion. Because, tactically, it seems like a very questionable move.

Neither really.  Odium loses a Pawn, but steals a Rook from the humans in the process.  I doubt he cares much for individual fused - just net progress.
