I started with Mistborn and I'm pretty happy that I did -- it was a good introduction to the universe and it made the shard stuff in Stormlight Archive more understandable I think.

Probably Era 1 since the story and plot twists were very satisfying, but I do enjoy the writing style of Era 2 more. Both series are so good though!
