The most important actors in SA are Odium and Dalinar. They will fight for roshar, but no shard will escape the system regardless the outcome of the fight.

Cultivation moved travagian exacly to be there and kill Rysin in that exact moment, and she moved Dalinar to be there fighting Odium, and sealing him with the contract.

We don't exactly know what Lift's main role will be yet, but I am sure that everything we saw so far was all cultivation's plot to stop Odium, like Preservation's one in Mistborn.

I bet that there is also a secret history going on in the background, with some unexpected protagonist (I'd love to see a Tien's secret history-like book in Roshar)

What is Cultivation's motivation? Ruin tried to destroy Scadrial. Odium wants to escape. Why would Cultivation wish to be locked in a system with an angry Shard?

Perhaps related to her intent? Maybe she's able to control her power better when it's in service of her intent, so, she wants to cultivate and grow the shards, and Odium being stuck for thousands of years, and the planet in a holding pattern means no growth, no cultivation, and thus an unhappy Shard.

Alternatively, she might want Odium in the hands of someone less like Rayse, but to be released from the system of Roshar, because of what she has foreseen. Maybe if Odium is focused on other worlds, she can be free to work on Roshar, and/or to set alternative plans in motion.  Like, "Yeah, go distract yourself with your conquering, Shard of Passion, Mommy's busy."

Cultivation is a Shard of growth and change. One theme throughout the Navani plot line is how Odium has become one of the tones of Roshar. Perhaps she wants Odium, Cultivation, and Honor to find a way to coexist.
