I see what you're saying. I just read through his article on the coppermind and his actions seem justifiable. I just  get this vibe off Mraize but I guess nearly every time we see him is from Shallans POV.

I don’t think Mraize can be excused. He would know that Lift’s psychological and physical ages don’t match up. Plus, he knows how adulthood is calculated on Roshar.

He gets a pass only if it turns out the theory that he’s a Sleepless is correct. Considering that they seem to struggle with understanding ordinary human psychology, I can understand a Sleepless not understanding that Lift is far more child-like than your average Rosharan 14 year old.

People think Mraize is a sleepless?

Thats weird because there's a WoB saying the Ghostbloods wouldn't work with a Sleepless.

I forgot, I did see that while reading WoBs. So I guess that means they don't know this person is a sleepless. I wonder if the sleepless is one of the 3 traitors.

They apparently decided it was worth the risk as they sent a Sleepless agent to spy on Hoid.

Knowing that, I have to believe Ghostblood HQ won't be happy with Mraizes actions.

One has to imagine that an interplanetary organization like the ghostbloods would have to be comfortable with delegating to subordinates, given the lack of fast travel. Kelsier had no problem hiring out a random group of thugs to do some of the team's dirty work, and it didn't seem like he was too concerned about the methods they used. He strikes me as a very results oriented person. I doubt he would be paying too much attention to the minutia of what Mraize and the other Ghostbloods on Roshar are doing.

We basically got a WoB that this is the case to a large extent. Basically that the GBs around Kell, that he’s actively involved with, are very different than the ones on Roshar.

Also that Mraize may not be doing what he’s told.
