Orpheus looked at Owlson and nodded. "He says he'll consider answering a few questions."

If so, will you share it?" He stopped for a moment, looking a little embarrassed, and said: "I guess he can straightforwardly hear me. Am I right?"

And how experienced are you with our realm, including possessions of lower unintelligent creatures?"

Gal looked up at Orpheus' comment. "Yes, you are right. It's a little surprising he was willing to share all he did until now. Funny thing, my question was intentionally phrased to be polite." He looked annoyed. "I think we can go back to the others. He could've just said he's not willing to share his goals, the Snakeson. Though I do wander," he returns to his notebook, and is clearly talking to the demon again, "by 'parallel' do you mean it's not overlapping our existence? If so, it could be interesting. There are some known Realms that work this way, though those are few."

Exodus donned his armor, and stared into his helm, a long thin box lay shut before him, on a red carpet. He hadn’t thought he would need armor, but that boy had gotten the best of him, somehow. He had greatly underestimated this group’s power... or maybe just their quantity. Too many to keep tabs on all of them at once. Yes, that must be it.

He shook his head and put his helm on, decked out in full gear.

“You have failed me, Alaxis,” he said to no one in particular. The tent was quiet, devoid of all life.

 Then, of course, came the... irritating voice.

Exodus froze. “An Idei? And a... spirit? Was that all that you saw, demon?”

The voice went oddly quiet for a moment, and when it spoke again, it’s tone was much softer and more serious.

Zᴀɴɪᴅᴀʀ ᴡᴀs ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ. Fʀᴏᴍ ᴍʏ ʀᴇᴀʟᴍ.

”Zanidar himself was there!?” Exodus cried, shocked. “And you didn’t mention this until now?”

Rᴇᴍᴇᴍʙᴇʀ ᴛʜᴇ Cᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴛ.

Exodus grit his teeth. “I could care less about the Contract, stupid demon! Be still.”

 At that command, Alaxis clammed up. How come he could never do as he was told properly? He would have to question him later.

Exodus considered this new information. Would this affect his plans at all? As the implications of what this meant sunk in, he grew angrier and angrier. He got a point when he finally opened up the box that lay in front of him, and pulled out a long, thin, and razor sharp iron sword, glowing with a deep orange light. An ominous, magical awe overwhelmed him, but he resisted best he could.

“This might be just what we need,” he whispered. And then he laughed.

Orpheus sat, confused. "He... says he's withdrawn his presence. And we probably best be getting back. It's getting dark. We'll figure this out later." He walks back towards the trail.

When she was done, she turned her attention back to..Orpheus. "Are we gonna set up camp here, or are we doing some midnight walking?"
