In SA, no-one does, but it seems to me that the Plate deserves it, I mean it does save the wearers life on a daily basis. If you would name your Plate, what would you name it?
Honorless he/him Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 We don't see the Alethi naming their Shardplate, only their Blades but we do see that the Thaylen did name their Shardplate. Highguard Hrdalm named his Shardplate "Cvaderln".

By using Rosharan ecology as a reference, I'd probably go for something like "Santhid's Shell". Weltall Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 If there's some poetic way in Alethi to say 'Taln's Vow' or similar I'd probably call a set of plate that, because if you want something that's gonna stand up to everything Roshar can throw at you, it's hard to think of anything more dependable than Taln. Bonus points for getting to sound pious at the same time.
