Being too cool to look at explosions, Qavisxu just stares Trylle in the eyes for a couple moments, narrowing them before straightening and saying. "Very well. However, if we want to truly cooperate, it would be nice if we could trust we aren't using magic on each other, don't you agree?"

Something was off about this new girl, he thought. She obviously wasn't a normal person- everyone here had some form of magic, so why break the trend here?

Yes... No... I would not mind, xino! (Don't you love those types of questions? :P )

"It might not have been magic - although it probably was - and why are we cooperating? I'm just going to get home."

"We're cooperating because whatever happened to you, likely happened to all of us, too. So if we want to get back to our own respective worlds, it would be logical to cooperate."

Did you know that yes and no were originally specifically for those types of questions?

Rekaerb sighed. This wasn't getting anywhere.

It's not intervening if I just take a look around, he told himself.

Four copies appeared at the edge of the area the group had covered so far, one in each cardinal direction, and began walking.

It was only a few minutes later when each pair met up again.

How peculiar, thought Rekaerb. It would appear that we are inside a toroidal space.

"That's likely true, or at least it'll be faster. So, what first?"

"Well, where are we? That might help us in figuring it out" Harmony says as she absently taps out a rhythm on her leg.

"I don't know, but I wouldn't recommend going south," he says, grinning.

Oh, forgot to mention. She's wearing a grey sweater dress with no shoes and holding a black umbrella above her head.

"Why not?" Trylle asked. She shifted her weight slightly.

"My powers exploded a little when I found myself here, it's deadly," he says.

"So wait. Your powers... caused the area to the south... to be deadly. Like how deadly?"

Qavisxu simply sighs. This simply got worse and worse.

"Uh... Like traversable, but I wouldn't recommend doing it," he says, for the first time, nervous.

Wait a minute, Rekaerb just walked straight into the south :P What should he have run into?

Harmony has to agree with the sound that sigh. "Where do you think that monster came from? Or maybe we can ask these townpeople."

"Sounds dangerous. Let's stay away from there, then. And how, exactly, are we supposed to get back?"

Spoiler

Something very colorful that would blow up a bunch and send bolts of lightning.

"Blow this place sky high? Pinch ourselves? I don't know," he jokes.

"Neither of those sounds very viable. I suggest, since we have no idea how we got here and thus how we can leave, that we spend some time researching. There should be a library somewhere near here."

"Perhaps we should assess each other's capabilities so we can function as a temporary team."

"I agree. We'll need to know what we all can do."

"Why? Can't we volunteer for tasks that we can do without saying what we're capable of?" Trylle asked, pulling her umbrella closer.

"I guess you don't have to. It's just a bit easier. And it will help with trust and the like."

On the word 'trust', Verdin's eyes flickered over to Pruss slightly. He was still a little paranoid that he would shock someone without defensive magic.

"If it's all right, I'll refrain."
