A few minutes later, Elene climbs onto the roof with the bagt of chains. Shands them to Bandar. Red doesn't take her eyes of the man.

Bandar took the chains and started to wrap them around the person's arms before securing them with a padlock. Bandar brought the man to his feet before walking him into the building.

"Fortunately for you, I've always been better at small talk than my sister."

Before they could get into the building, Sosternuto grabbed Bandar's ankle with a green-grip and pulled away, making a run for it.

Red saw the man get out of Bandar's grip, and grabbed her flint an steel. She struck them, and a line a fire shot in front of him.

Bandar cursed again, stating clearly that this was stupid. Bandar ran and jumped off of the roof, rolling into a crouching position.

"Jack, make an illusion," she thought. "Baldar, follow him, I'll cut him off!" She jumped off the roof and tried to get around him. SHe saw Jack create an illusion of flames in front of the man, taller than the buildings and brighter than anything in the city.

Sosternuto skidded to a stop, trying to ascertain if the flames were real or not. As he got closer, he could feel no heat coming off of them and ran through, trusting his senses. He sprinted through the settlement, trying to find a good place to hide.

Bandar started chasing the man, but couldn't keep up after an initial sprint.

"Crushing idiot, at least leave the chains!"

Red sprinted around and saw the man jump through the flames. She took out her matchbox and, cursing herself, she struck it and exploded the ground behind her, launching her above the man. She landed in front of him, landing badly on one of her feet. She took out another match. "Move, and you're a burnt corpse!" she shouted.

After considering for a bit, he placed a little green-grip around both her matchbox and her match, hoping she wouldn't be able to light it. Then he slowly stepped away, making sure to be cautious while trying to be quick. He couldn't let the others catch up.

Though Bandar was obviously slower than before, he was making decent time on Sosternuto as Bandar jumped through the fire.

Sosternuto looked back to see the bodyguard getting closer. This wasn't a time for caution, it was a time for speed. Throwing caution to the wind, he sped off. If these people wanted him dead, he'd probably be dead already. Mostly because of his mistakes, but this group was better prepared than most.

Bandar slowed near Red for a brief second before sprinting on, ashe spoke he was showing signs of being short of breath.

Sosternuto wouldn't stop running. He couldn't get caught, he knew eventually he'd give up his secrets if they were persistent enough. So he ran. He ran through the streets of the settlement, taking random turns and heading for no place in particular.
