"Sounds like a plan." Sosternuto put some things in a bag and tossed it over his shoulder. "You ready?"

"Yep, let's go." As the dog starts to get up, something explodes in the alleyway.

"What was that? Oh, it doesn't really matter, all I need to know is that it's bad. Come on, let's go."

Bandar turned to walk back to the building that he had stayed the night in.

"Well, so much for those chains that crushing jerk. It's a good thing that I know where I can get more. If yo don't mind me saying boss, but I think that it's time for us to get moving."

Sosternuto looked out the front and grimaced. "Nope, we're going out the back. Too many people." He walked to the back and started climbing the wall, then looked back at the dog. "Need a hand?"

The dog follows him, but keeps smelling... something behind them. Every time he looks back he doesn't see anything.

"No, I'm ok, thank you." The dog transforms into a tall, slightly skinny man with large hands. He starts to climb up after him.

As soon as the man got to the top he transforms back into a dog and quickly catches up to Sosternuto.

Sosternuto nodded and jumped off of the roof, rolling to a stop in the road. People all around him stared, unabashed, as he stood up.

The dog jumped off the roof and landed running, and scanned ahead for any threats.

Sosternuto ran to the gate and out of the settlement.

We wish. You could recruit someone else if Writer has decided that they're not going to participate for a while! A stand-in of some sort, or an entirely new character!

Something slammed into the dog just before he reached the gate, and he yelped. He turned to fight back and was completely surprised to find a bear bearing down on him.

Bear bearing down! :) Good one.

Sosternuto spun to see a bear attacking the dog. Where had that come from? He put a grip around its right front ankle and tugged it down to the ground.

The bear seemed suprised that a man had managed to move him, but as Sosternuto tugged him he transformed into a man to mess of his balance then turned back into a bear again.

The dog whimpered as his vision began to blur. The only clear thing he saw was the cut that ran down his leg.

"Hang in there, I'll help you!" Sosternuto called, charging in. He used another grip to tug the bear away.

The bear let himself get dragged off, then let out a howl that echoed down the streets.

They howl, right? Or scream or whatever it is bears do when making a loud noise.

"That's bad. C'mon, we have to get out of here." Sosternuto quickly examined and slightly wrapped the injury, then lifted the dog to its feet. "Can you run?"

The dog tried to get up but his leg gave out under him. He transformed into a human and started hopping on his non-injured leg.

"Here, just turn into a dog again and I'll carry you! It'll be faster."
