"Uhh..."

Andante crossed her arms. "That's a yes. And why would you choose me? At least they can defend themselves!" Her voice grew in volume and pitch.

"Exactly. It won't go for someone it can't defeat. Now run out there, wave your arms around, and scream."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because I need to be able to stab it in the back when it can't see me."

Andante put her head against the wall. "Is there any way I can get out of this?"

"Distract the monster now, let me kill it now, and then you don't have to do it later."

"That's not getting out of it. Why can't one of them do it again?"

"Because the monster won't attack someone capable of attacking back."

"I can attack back! Chrysler gave me this!" Andante raises her hand.

Ayia sighs, then grabs Andante's hand and yanks her out into the monster's view.

"Free dinner!" She shouted.

"EEP!" shrieked Andante, starting to run away.

Ayia used her Line to pull her into the air, getting out of the monster's line of sight.

Yeah, it's xino.

Andante sprinted away from the monster, trying to find cover.

The monster stands in the middle of the room, blue eyes narrowed. It growls as Andante enters its view, a low rumble that almost seems to shake the ground. It locks its gaze on her, but doesn't move otherwise. It seems almost as if it is acting as a guard- a guard to the only exit in the room that you can see.

Andante slows to a jog, then stops. "Hey, is that the only way out? I think that's bad."

Ayia Shapes her rod to become sharp at the end, then rams it into the monster's back.

Rakushta watches from the back of the room- he didn't dare throw his explosives, and he doubted anyone would listen if he said to stand back. So he just stood back and watched the fun.

The rod scrapes against the green scales but manages to find slight purchase. The monster roars and shakes itself back and forth, trying to shake off or knock away its attacker.
