He picked up speed and blazed through the guards, many of which had gone to investigate that explosion. As he ran into the relative shelter of the jungle, he slowed a bit. Couldn't twist his ankle now, Chorale would need him soon.

Condensation she/her Posted November 19, 2020 Author Posted November 19, 2020 Concerto stopped a good distance into the forest. Kade was unlikely to send people after them and Chorale really needed help. He made her sit down on the ground and knelt down in front of her, looking at her.

Probably a wise idea. Kade slung his rifle over his shoulder, and ran off.
