Things happened- she made friends, enemies, and enemies that became friends - but eventually, the decision was made that such a being could not be allowed to exist. And one of the things that had happened in her timeline was a great battle with the forces of the Void in which one of the Narrators that had become part of Star's group lost everything. Unwilling to lose it all again, he resisted the reunion. And, well... it worked. The universes split, and the group was cast into another reality."
