Well... Sadly, no. I've thought of an idea for how to keep contact between Earth and Mars when they're on the opposite sides of the sun, though it probably isn't that bright, and I didn't think of it in the shower. It was while daydreaming around, though, so it might qualify as only one level of genius bellow "I thought about it in the shower".
