Hopefully we will find out more in Elantris 2.

Honorless he/him Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) Since the Ire senior members are all Elantrians, it's plausible that they need Connection to the Dor to sustain themselves, so yeah they might've been drawing in the Investiture that was being pumped into the fortress. Just saying, for the future. I know. They're all on the same subject, but different topics in that subject, so it's easier to see if a specific question got answered when they're split up.

I always thought it was but I reread Secret History recently and I feel like I read something that disagrees with that (yes, I already forgot what it was).
