Edema Rue she/her Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Only one? Seriously? Mat Cuathon. How many times a day do you think about your toes?
The cheeseman Don't you dare go Hollow! Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Ummmm. Just the once because you mentioned them. Would Rand al'Thor or Adolin Kholin win a duel?
Odiumiumium he/him Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 l've only read up to book 2 of WoT, but I feel like Rand al'Thor already has an unfair advantage over Adolin. Poor Adolin, the only non-magical person in a group of magical protagonists. What's the most absurd cosmere ship you are currently shipping?
Eluvianii he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 None. The only thing more vanilla than my ships is vanilla itself. What's your favorite breakfast? 1
Odiumiumium he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Anything that features a great deal of egg. What's your favorite time of day?
Wittles he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I think probably about 3 or 4 in the morning. As you can tell, I have a very healthy sleep schedule. Do you think any conspiracy theories are real?
The Aspiring Archivist any pronouns Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 No. Why did you decide to join the shard?
Robin Sedai she/her Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I'd been lurking for a very long time, so it was the natural next step. What a pain it was to sign up though, apparently a lot of spammers come from my region and so I was prevented from registering. I had to email Chaos. (He was very nice about it.) What is the best way to cook a potato?
Odiumiumium he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Sliced and fried. What do you think is the most difficult story trope to pull off?
Eluvianii he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Hmmm maybe the spoiled ending? Those stories that tell you how they're gonna end from the beginning, and then have to keep your attention the whole way through despite it. Even better are the ones that spoil the ending and yet when it comes it still feels surprising. What is the easiest story trope to pull off while still being amazing? 1
Wittles he/him Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 The one where the person pulls out an impossible amount of weapons from increasingly unlikely places. idk why, but I love that one What's your favorite trope for whatever reason?
The cheeseman Don't you dare go Hollow! Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Magic sword from a family member. I love swords. I love magic. I love my family. What more is there to say? Favorite Metallica song?
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 The only one I know is "Nothing Else Matters", but I quite like it so I'll say that. Favorite Rolling Stones song?
The cheeseman Don't you dare go Hollow! Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Drift Away. It's a great driving song. Who's the most bone-chilling villain you've read?
Wittles he/him Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I haven't read the books, but Moriarty from Sherlock was terrifying. Such a good villain. Also Taravangian Odium has great potential to be a really awesome villain Do you like spicy foods?
Lord Gregorio he/him Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Ya. I'm not as used to them as I wish, but I do love spicy stuff. What school grade contains the most annoying children. (from K-12 in your opinion)
SymphonianBookworm she/her Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Fifth grade. Hands down. Don't ask... Favorite musical?
Cinnamon Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 ALL OF THEM! seriously though, I really like Matilda because it was the first musical I ever saw and is what made me fall in love with theatre. Les Mis is awesome too. have you ever worn shoes belonging to different pairs at the same time?
Odiumiumium he/him Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Not intentionally, but yes. Probably. Do you like nostalgia?
Robin Sedai she/her Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Depends on the kind. Old song nostalgia is always nice. What's the worst burn you've ever had? (No not that kind, the kind that causes blisters.)
solarcat she/her Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 A negative first degree burn. What was your favorite school year excluding college?
Wittles he/him Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 (edited) I think it's probably my third grade year. Back when I was too young to really have internal turmoil. What was the best day of your life? (Or one of the best) Edited February 23, 2023 by Witless of Shinovar 1
Robin Sedai she/her Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Probably not the best day or anything, but it's the first thing that comes to my mind. I remember a very nice day out with my mum when I was maybe eight or nine. We just walked around downtown, she bought me a snack off a street vendor and a very cool sparkly blue ruler. It wasn't anything special but I was really happy that day. You have a choice between a gold box, a jade box, and a wooden box. You can only choose one. Which one do you pick?
ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Jade! It's pretty while not being too gaudy, so to say. Do you prefer necklaces or bracelets?
Robin Sedai she/her Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Probably bracelets, necklaces are a pain for getting tangled in things. Plus I feel bracelets can go with very casual clothes, unlike necklaces. Do you own any jewelry?
