Hey there, everyone,

Been lurking on this forum for a while and decided to finally get involved with it!  I started reading Sanderson after I finished the Wheel of Time and jumped right into Mistborn after finishing Robert Jordan's mighty epic.  Once I finished the original trilogy, I read Elantris real quick, then got into the Stormlight Archive, which is quite honestly, my favorite of Brandon's works.  I am soooo ready for Book 4!  I have not had the chance to read beyond the Cosmere yet, my favorite character is absolutely Dalinar Kholin, followed closely by Hoid.  According to the Knights Radiant quiz, I am a Bondsmith, which is my favorite Order, so that was a pleasant surprise :)

Some other stuff about me...I am prior military (Navy), and I am looking at Grad schools to pursue my goals of teaching history.  I am also an actor, which is quite difficult in the present circumstances of the word, but I just finished a stage production that we turned into a socially distant film project.  I'm a man of many hats!  Anyway, I hope you're all doing well!  If you have any questions or suggestions, I'm happy to listen and answer!  Cheers!

Welcome to the Shard! Do you remember the %? Or the... runner-up Orders?

Have you read Warbreaker yet? If you haven't, give it a try! It's connected to the Stormlight Archive. It's available for free on Brandon's website.

I am also an actor! What stage production was it?

I want to say it was 83% Bondsmith.  I know my two runners up were Windrunner and Edgedancer...in that order.  I have not read Warbreaker yet!  I'm finishing a Stormlight reread before Rhythm of War comes out haha.  I'm excited to read it, though.

We just finished A Chorus Line!  I play Al DeLuca.  Great to meet another thespian!  Have you been able to do much with the Covid situation?

Dang it, when you tell me all the answers I can't ask you! That's okay... US or UK covers? Favorite magic system? What type of acting do you mostly do (classics, musical theatre, TV/Movies, etc)?

Thats awesome!!! Uh, not much. I'm still in high school, but we have auditions for our plays at the end of the school year before, and we got our scripts and stuff, so that's fun. We've also been able to have dance workshops (socially distanced of course) (both of the shows are pretty tap-heavy: Anything Goes and Crazy For You.) I always end up super sore after those, our choreographer pushes us REALLY hard.

I really do like the US covers...as far as American fantasy covers go, they're some of the best.  But I do appreciate the simple beauty of the UK covers.  If I had a preference...UK.  I love Allomancy...it was shocking just how involved and clever that system was.  I was not expecting that when I first cracked open Mistborn.

I do a lot of musical theatre, Shakespeare, and the occasional straight play.  I'm starting to audition for small films and voice over stuff due to the COVID stuff...it's just easier to distance yourself in a filming situation.  It's been different, but fun!

That's great!  Keep doing it, and enjoy it...I'm glad you're able to still perform and create art.  It's been weird doing Zoom rehearsals haha.  Not a fan of that, but we do what we can!  We just finished filming our show, and the amount of dancing in this thing has been wild.  I am incredibly sore and wiped out.  Filming made it all the more intense...I think we did about 8-10 takes on each dance?

Oooh that'd be rough. Dancing is definitely not my strong suit in theatre. I like to think that I'm a good actress/singer, but I never really took any dance classes, so that's a struggle.

Oh, also, do you have any favorite underrated musicals? Mine is probably Tuck Everlasting, but I also really like the off-broadway show Daddy Long Legs, idk if you've heard of that one.

Dancing is not my strongest attribute in the theatre world either haha.  I love Chess, First Date, Last Five Years, and Bye Bye Birdie (I honestly think it's better than Grease...).  Tuck Everlasting is a good one for sure.  I've not heard of Daddy Long Legs, though.

You should definitely check out Daddy Long Legs!! It's a 2-person musical that is mostly told through letters.

I've listened to Last 5 Years, my cousin was in a production of Bye Bye Birdie, and I think I've at least heard of the other 2?

Grammarly does bad stuff on 17th Shard. Please turn it off or don't use quote boxes and spoilers.

Welcome to the Shard! And oooh, not many people have Bondsmith as their top one, that's pretty cool. Good luck finding the right grad school!

Oh hello there. Wow, you're a Bondsmith. I mean it's a big deal for me, like, you're the actual first I encountered.

Elsecaller here. And, yes, do try Warbreaker. I'm sure you'll love it.
