Other then Truthwatchers(which seem to be called Onyxsears) they all are the same so far. 68. Taln remains awesome and Jasnah is kind of into him. I approve of both. Also Shallan is an Elsecaller and really good at throwing things. 69. 76 Nooo. Jasnah! What are you doing? 79 Dam this version of Taravangian is terrible 81 This ending for Elhokar is actually kind of interesting. More tragic and less heroic. I am glad that he forgives Dalinar even if it is sad that Dalinar can't forgive him. 82 Dang. I never would have expected that. 84 Jasnah and Amaram are just so wrong. 85. Intara is like Sebarial only better. This is amazing and I need him to stick around 86. Not Taln! Edited July 8, 2020 by Karger
PiedPiper she/her Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 So I've been reading WoK Prime really slowly -- just started with chapter 2 -- and oh Almighty, crem is crom. You're reading this and rolling your eyes, but it really is a huge difference. Crem as a word just seemed to make sense in defining the mud-ish stuff left over from storms. Crom sounds like cookie monster's younger cousin. 1

I'll say this, I didn't expect the queen and her son to die. Thank the Stormfather that didn't happen in canon. I have a really hard time with child death.

This Taravangian is exceedlingly creepy, and I really don't like him. That was his sister and nephew, for Harmony's sake!

I completely agree. I feel like most of the antagonists in canon are more gray and varied, where here all of them are completely evil. Meridas, Ahven, Elhokar, are all really dark, evil, gritty villains whereas Amaram kinda has a point (that I don't agree with, but it there), Taravangian has his dual nature, and Elhokar was well meaning.
