Ascended
Not sure if this has been speculated elsewhere I am not that great at using the search feature on here. I am listening and rereading oathbringer something I hadn't caught before and wondered if it was important, been speculated on, or if there is a wob on it. P. 402 in hardcover in one of Dalinars vision the character he is playing is called Malad-son-Zent a Shin name...just wondering about this since we don't see them much and then at the end of the vision p.409 a Shin looking man falls to his knees before the honorblades.
NightbloodforPM
They don't make the connection in book AFAIK. Otherwise they'd realise where the shin got the honorblade szeth used and that they also have the others. I'm waiting for that penny to drop
Honorless he/him
And much later, during the False Desolation, Naze-daughter-Kuzodo was against Melishi's plan, warning of "unintended side effects" People also suspect them to be holding/hiding a majority of the Shardblades as there's far fewer blades in the Vorin countries, which are supposed to have the most shards.
Toaster Retribution he/him
Given that Shinovar most likely was the place where the humans on Roshar started, it is not unlikely to assume that the people there are much more in touch with the ancient history of Roshar, the wars, Desolations and Blades.
