Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 "You don't know if over there is safe, and I don't need to be sheltered!" Tvora winks out again. Quote She won't hear anything you say if she's not at least partially in the physical.
Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Tvora winked back into the physical and (finally) hit the orb of the colorsucker she'd been aiming at.

Quote ...would she still be able to do that? The color-sucking of the creatures is rather rapid, a good percentage of her color would be gone (and with it her energy).

xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Quote Well, 0% color makes you essentially a zombie, and she likely only has less than a third left.
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 Quote Kay. In that case... Ayia whacked one of the orbs like a normal person.

Quote How about punching it? Also, how much color do you estimate he has left? He's been around the creatures less than Ayia, but probably only by a few seconds to two minutes.
xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Quote The orbs work much faster the closer they get to you. Ayia was literally touching one for a second or two- you'd only need about five seconds of continuous contact to be completely drained. At max range it's probably more like five minutes. So I would say not yet half drained, but getting there. A normal punch would not be enough to shatter the orb, not while it's still in the creature.
Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 (edited) Quote Tvora will soon drop off the face of the earth for two months. Soon being tomorrow next week. Edited May 17, 2021 by Tani

xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Quote Unlikely, although the creatures she hit would not have been pleased at all.
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 Ayia pulled back, breathing heavily. "No... use. Nothing's working."
EchoOfThePlanes he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 (edited) @Matrim's Dice Remembrance begins moving towards Craven, its form suddenly flowing into a point of space in front of it, dodging a colorsucker by ceasing to exist. After a moment, the air near Craven begins to bend and twist, solidifying around him into the coiling form of Remembrance. It directs its thoughts at Craven. Come, little one. It lowers its head down next to Craven, projecting an image of him boarding the space behind Remembrance's "feathered" head. Climb aboard, I will not harm you. Let us fetch Tvora, hmm? Quote @Tani Once Matrim responds as Craven, Remembrance is coming for Tvora. It likes Craven and Tvora, and doesn't want them to get hurt. Edited May 17, 2021 by EchoOfThePlanes

Quivil Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Tvora slams her dagger into the already cracked orb, digging the tip inside it, grabbing the colorsucker's head to hold it in place as she changes her weapon. The metal of her weapon oozes out of shape and into the cracks, pushing against the sides, digging deeper, widening the cracks. Quote Xino, what happens to a colorsucker when its orb breaks?
xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 The orb explodes in a burst of color. The creatures in the vicinity of the explosion melt away - save for the other colorsuckers, which freeze for a moment and then scuttle off. The people drained of color have their color restored as the pulse washes over them.
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Martin sees Ayia pass out and abandons attacking the creature in front of him in favor of getting closer to Ayia so the creatures can't attack her while she's down.
