Quivil Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Tvora returned to the physical realm and readied her weapons.

Channelknight Fadran Posted May 15, 2021 Author Posted May 15, 2021 Fadran frowned as his hand passed through Tvora. "Don't think that just because you're intangible I'll let you fight. What I said still stands, kid."
Quivil Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 (edited) Tvora ignores the nuisance that is Fadran's hand and starts running. As she runs her weapons shift into whips that don't act much like whips should. Quote Sorry for the wait Edited May 15, 2021 by Tani
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 15, 2021 Author Posted May 15, 2021 Ayia, frustrated by her lack of ability to damage the monsters, shot towards Tvora. “Kid! What do you think you’re doing? Get the scraps outta here!”

Quote Actually, it's probably stronger while it's drawing color from Ayia. A great many of the beasts simply splatter into paint as the group attacks. A few, however, seem harder to destroy- they seem to be more resistant to attacks. These are the ones with black spheres in their mouths, foreheads, or elsewhere- spheres that drain color when they get close enough to someone. As color drains away, so does energy.

xinoehp512 he/him Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Quote Quite close. Maybe a couple feet maximum range.
Condensation she/her Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Andante popped out of the area with another monster.

Ayia shot back towards the main group, nearly grayscale at this point. "Kay, so if I know anything about magical monsters, it's the dark spheres that we're gonna want to attack."
Spren of Kindness she/her Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Martin goes after the the sphere on one of the creature's head. He feels like something is sucking away his energy. Quote Are the spheres vulnerable to sharp pointy objects?
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 16, 2021 Author Posted May 16, 2021 Ayia vaulted into a backflip like the irl sweat she was and tried to bean one of the spheres with her staff.
Condensation she/her Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 Andante reappeared without the previous monster and paused to catch her breath.
EchoOfThePlanes he/him Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Remembrance, sensing the sudden flare of emotion from the ongoing battle, weaves through the white bubble, eventually breaching the surface. In a splash of color and energy, Remembrance flows from the anomaly, glowing brighter than before. It rears its head as it processes the situation, devoid of fear, but bursting with curiosity. What is this? It focuses on Tvora, picking up her defiance of Fadran and Ayia, and adds concern for the children to its curiosity. 21 hours ago, Channelknight Fadran said: Ayia vaulted into a backflip like the irl sweat she was and tried to bean one of the spheres with her staff. Remembrance is momentarily distracted by Ayia's maneuver, previously unaware that human bodies could perform such a feat, but forces itself back to its concern for the children. It remembers its experience with Craven, and how it unintentionally hurt him. It does not want the children to be in pain. It pushes on Fadran and Ayia, creating a mental Connection between them, then pulls on the Connection, adding its own mind to the link, creating a more private mental space for the three to communicate. Once the link is complete, Remembrance projects its desire to gain the attention of Fadran and Ayia. This thing, the protection of the children, this must be so. Tvora is filled with Chaos, but I will make this thing so. Quote @Channelknight Fadran Which characters are you referring to? I know about Craven, but who else?
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 Quote Tvora and Craven are the children they’re tryna protect
Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Tvora vanishes into the cognitive, still running, then winks back into the physical realm entirely and smashes her dagger into the face of a colorsucker, aiming for an orb. The color starts to drain from her.
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 Ayia swoops down on her Line, grabs Tvora, and pulls her away. "What do you think you're doing?"
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 "No! You're not!" Ayia glances around, then attacked one of the dyrlings as it started draining the color from her. "You go back to the camp and wait with Craven!"
Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 In the Cognitive, Tvora dives for a colorsucker flame and winks into the Physical just in time to hit it. She misses the orb, barely.
Quivil Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 "WHAT!" She sticks around, but goes mostly insubstantial, slowing the color drain. She starts swinging for the orb again.
Channelknight Fadran Posted May 17, 2021 Author Posted May 17, 2021 "I told you to go wait with Craven!"
