Ayia, unsure if she could avoid this attack naturally, opted to simply drop onto the ground.

Dang it. She kept shooting ahead. "Rust and Ruin!" She cursed. I'm an idiot. She smacked her head on the ground. She moaned. "Ow." She just laid there. "I should not have done that."

"Yeah you shouldn't have." Ayia stood up and picked her staff out of the air. "Does this mean I won, or did you want to keep going?"

"At this point, I think you won." She said. Ugh. My head hurts. Ow. She sighed. "If there's one thing I've learned, it's when to surrender." She rolled onto her back. She had a black eye forming from the impact, and her nose was bleeding. Luckily, she had all of her teeth.

"Yikes. Looks like you got pretty banged up. You're lucky I wasn't actively trying to attack you."

She waved her hand. "Eh, I've had much worse." She shuddered, remembering some of the other times mentioned. "This is nothing compared to some other injuries I've had. I once had the skin on the left side of my face almost completely come off." She winced. "Now that was excruciatingly painful."

"That sounds... incredibly nasty."

"Oh, it was. With some of the things I've gone through, I don't know how I'm still alive." She got up, and dusted herself off. "That was fun! We should do this again sometime. Oh, and can I have my rope back?" She grabbed her mistcloak. "Your breath to mine." She happily smiled as the breath in her cloak, sleeves, and pants went back to her. "I don't know how the rest of you live without BioChromatic Breath." She said blissfully.

"I don't know how you lasted so long without Linecasting." Ayia did her best to unwind the rope around her arm, eventually settling with holding out her arm for Camelia to take it back.

"Your breath to mine." She said after grabbing the rope. She then shoved it into her bag. "As I said. I've been doing this for a while. I've been trained by many teachers on many different worlds. Plus, I'm a bronze compounder. I can stay awake and train for longer."

"Still... you're a little sloppy, though you might just be out of practice."

"What do you expect? I'm 16." She said with a grin. She then sprinted over to the other rope. "Your breath to mine." She said. She then stuffed that rope into her bag, and sprinted back. "Besides. I usually soulcast my enemies. Or strangle them with breath. Or use my shardblade. Although, I can't access that last one here. Anyway, those... Weren't exactly options in this situation."

"Strangle someone with breath? Sounds like an oxymoron." Ayia patted her on the head, ruffling her hair. "I could teach you a few things. In fact, now that I think about it, I should probably show everyone here a few things..."

Martin ambles over as the spar comes to a close.  "Everyone have their eyebrows?"

"Yep. All eyebrows are still attached."

"That's good.  Emoting is hard enough with them." Martin squints up at the sky.  "Say, if Fadran's not here, who's running this army?"

"There's a chain of command, I guess. At the moment, though, we aren't making any drastic decisions, so everybody's just kinda..." Ayia waved vaguely. "Doing their own thing?"

"Right.  Someone should probably check on that at some point."

"It's not an oxymoron. I'm being completely literal right now." She winced. "Ow." She said with a grimace.

"Okay." She said with a shrug. Don't call me that.

Ayia's quite good at calling people things they don't want to be called, isn't she?

"Go pick a table. I'll get us all some stuff to eat."

"Sure." She went to the nearest empty table, and sat down. I think my nose is broken. Dang it.

Martin joins Camelia at the table.  "So.  She beat you?"

I just now realized, I've been calling Camelia Camille for... as long as Martin has known her.  Sorry about that!  If it's alright, I'll keep doing it in character until there's a point where he can notice he's using the wrong name.

No.  I don't know how that happened.  I think it was me, Kindness, having a Day when Camelia and Martin met each other, so the proper name fell through.
