The boat landed. Enter got out and tied one end of a rope to the boat, then buried the other end and covered it with a rock the size of his head.

Fadran hopped off the boat, holding his hand out to Queen like a gentleman.

I didn't get to do it last time, so I'm giving it a second shot.

Queen took his hand, but clearly didn't need it as she stepped deftly from the boat.

Fadran smiled to himself, then stared up the wall. "So... can I just explode it, or...?"

"When I made it, I was sure to make it explosion-proof. But anyway, we won't need to get past the wall. Follow me." Enter led them around the back.

"Be careful where you step. I have found patches of ground that won't support your weight. They're pretty small, only a cubic foot on average, but just be careful."

Fadran nods, Bonding with gravity to decrease his weight a little just in case.

Queen didn't feel the need for anything like that; being around Fadran already made her feel lighter than air.

"How did that happen?" Wrenden asked, tentatively checking the next step before putting his weight on it.

Enter's foot suddenly sank about a foot into the ground. "Dang it." He pulled his foot out of the ground.

"I have no idea."

"I feel like you need a rapid 101 course on combat magic."

"That might be a good idea."

"Great! Question one: how good are you at just regular combat?"

"Not. That's why my hat is full of tools and healing stuff, not weapons."

"Welp... we have a long way to go. Step one to properly stabbing things with projectile magic: decision and precision! Also known as the two isions. The first one, decision, is important for your speed and momentum. You can't stand around trying to think of something to do; you have to react instantly to anything that comes at you. That's why I'm so jumpy all the time!

"The second one, precision, is important for your accuracy and efficiency. Always choose a more effective attack or defense over a less effective one. You don't want to waste your energy throwing random attacks here and there. You got that?"

"I think so...but how do I pick the right precision in a quick decision?"
